WORLD CUP SOCCER: GO USA TODAY! As a lifelong soccer player,coach, and fan, Dr. Krusen is forcing us to be interested in the World Cup soccer tournament by having us all in a Countryside animal clinic, World Cup soccer pool. Dr. Krusen played high school soccer in the Lehigh Valley, college soccer at Kansas State, and played and coached adult and youth soccer here in the Harrisburg area. What does this have to do with veterinary medicine? Not that much really, but many of our clients are in one way or another Soccer contacts, we have many international Soccer enthusiast, and many of our clients have family members who play. Also, we are definitely a community minded veterinary practice, and sports and other activities is something that we appreciate and support amongst our staff, their children, and our clients. Besides, although we work hard to take care of the many people and animals we see, Dr. K. wants to make sure that we prioritize our families and have a little fun at work also!

It's beginning to look alot like Spring. With the warmer weather comes an increase in fleas, ticks and internal parasites. We have seen an increase in coccidia and giardia recently. We do suggest f***l sample as part of yearly exams. We highly recommend having all pets even indoor only on flea/tick. We recommend Credelio once monthly or Bravecto given every 3 months. Or for dogs we now have Bravecto Quantum a once yearly flea/tick injection.

Heads up for anyone coming this way. We are not sure how long the road will be closed. Downed tree in the wires is blocking Lewisberry Road/Siddonsburg Road in both directions between Andersontown Road and Mountain Road. All lanes are closed while crews work on the scene.

Christmas time always makes me so deeply thankful and appreciative of our clients , their pets, my staff, and my profession. Our holiday hours are as follows we are closing at 2pm on Christmas eve. We will be closed Christmas day and reopen 9 to 5 on the 26th. Kurt will be out of the office on the 31st and 2nd to celebrate his dads 100 birthday. However Dr.Benner will be here to see appointments. We will be open 9 to 5 and only closed January 1st.

On Thursday November 20th we will be having an all staff meeting from 9 till noon. Dr. Krusens wife Janet will be answering the phones and checking clients out with medication refills. We will not be having any appointments until the afternoon. Thank you for your cooperation.

Phone update: On Friday 10/31 our phones were temporarily disconnected so that we can upgrade our system. We hope to be back with phones Saturday afternoon, but it could be as late as Monday morning. You could try leaving a message on our second line, 697-4254, but that is being upgraded also. You could also try sending an email to [email protected], or sending an instant message to this page. If you were already ordering medications through our online store, you will need to enter your information again when you go to submit your next prescription request. If you had an autoship with us, they are in the process of being imported, so you may or may not have to enter your info again. We apologize for this inconvenience but promise it will be worth it in the long run!

If you have any questions about the process of submitting a prescription through the store, don't hesitate to call us at the clinic or shoot us an email. We will be shutting down our old store over the next week, so please make sure you do not submit any new requests through the old link. Thank you all for your understanding!

Hello everyone!

We wanted to make you all aware that in a few weeks we will be switching the platform for our online store to ensure a better customer service experience for our clients!

If you currently use our online store to order your pet's medication, you will need to update the link you use and will need to reenter your information the first time you place an order after the switch. We apologize for that inconvenience, but promise that the new store will have all the medications you need and get from our current store and will be better in a lot of ways.

If you have an autoship currently arranged with the current platform, that will transfer automatically and you will not need to anything!

I will post here once the change is official and the link on our website is updated, so keep a lookout on our page for that. The below QR code is not active yet, but once it is you can use it to access the store as well. Thank you!
