🐾📸 A little photo dump of the four-legged cuties I’ve done recently! 🐶 Just a bunch of wagging tails, boopable noses, and too much cuteness for one camera roll 🦴💕

Leveling up for my lovely doodle clients! ✂️🐾

Did you know that no two doodle coats are the same? From soft fleece waves to thick woolly curls, each one requires a custom approach!
Back in September I attended an amazing seminar that was all about adapting tools, techniques, and trims for completely different doodle coat types. We covered everything from specialized prep products and bulk control to precision hand-scissoring for those perfect, plush head styles and flared legs.

Continuing education is so important to me because your pups deserve the absolute best care and styling possible. Can’t wait to show off these stunning, salon-ready results on your pups at their next appointment! ❤️

While cats are famous for being self-cleaning, they don't always have the mobility, health, or coat type to keep up with their own grooming. Senior cats, cats with arthritis, or those recovering from illness often struggle to reach sensitive spots like the back, chest, and rear end, leading to hidden knots that can quickly turn into painful matts pulling on their skin. Professional grooming isn't just about keeping your pet looking stylish; it plays a vital role in preventing severe skin irritation, hairballs, and discomfort so they can feel their absolute best.

Missy dropped by yesterday for a little spaw pampering to shave out some tricky matts she couldn't reach, and she was the absolute sweetest girl. In fact, she loved it so much that she officially claimed my comb as her personal souvenir. 🐾 🐱

If you would like to schedule an appointment for your kitty, reach out to us directly so we can ensure the safest and quietest time to pamper your best friend.

May is fluffed up and ready to head to Missouri for an all day hands-on poodle class!
🚗🐾

At Howls, learning never stops. The pet care industry is always evolving—from new techniques and tools to updated handling practices and skin/coat care—and we believe the best way to serve our four-legged clients is to keep raising our own bar.
Continuing education isn't just a requirement for us; it’s a passion. Investing in dedicated, hands-on training lets us bring fresh skills, safer techniques, and top-tier care straight back to our salon floor.
We can't wait to dive into the class, connect with fellow professionals, and bring back everything we learn to make your pets' salon experience even better!
