The answer is MYTH! 🐱

Even if your cat never steps a paw outside, they can still be exposed to parasites! Fleas, ticks, and other unwanted visitors can make their way indoors on our shoes, clothing, or even other pets. Mosquitoes can also sneak inside and put cats at risk for heartworms.

Keeping your indoor kitty on year-round parasite prevention is an important part of keeping them happy and healthy!

Bloodwork gives their veterinary team helpful information that we can't always see from the outside. And while they may not understand the why, we're here to make the process as calm and comfortable as we can.

Some kittens are naturally a little shy. They like their quiet corners, their hiding spots, and taking their time warming up. 🐾

But if your normally social kitten starts hiding more than usual, it’s worth taking note. It doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong. Changes in behavior can have all kinds of explanations, and noticing those little differences is part of knowing your pet well.
