We are looking for extra hands in the mornings! If you love animals and want to make a real difference, we’d love your help.
Volunteer duties include:
🐱 Cleaning and refreshing living spaces
🥣 Feeding and caring for our kittens & cats
💛 Snuggles and socialization (the best part!)
We have openings any day of the week and would greatly appreciate any time you can give. Even a couple hours makes a huge impact!

🐾 Volunteers Needed at PetSmart! 🐾

We are looking for a few reliable volunteers to help care for our adoptable cats at the PetSmart adoption center on Sherman Blvd.

What it involves:
🐱 Cleaning litter boxes
🐱 Feeding wet food
🐱 Checking in on the cats and giving them a little love

Time commitment:
Just 1–2 days a week, anytime after 4pm. It’s a quick visit but makes a big difference for the cats while they wait for their forever homes.

This boy is smart, playful, and endlessly entertaining. He’s the kind of cat who will keep you laughing with his antics—especially when he’s quietly “borrowing” your favorite things and hiding them for safekeeping 😹 (you’ve been warned!).

• Grooming himself to absolute perfection (he takes his spa routine very seriously)

• Hanging out with other cats—he truly loves having feline friends
Because of his social nature, Waffles is looking for a special home with another playful kitty companion. He thrives on interaction and would love a buddy to chase, wrestle, and nap with.

A long time resident, Kalleh, went to his forever home yesterday! His new mom said they had an instant connection. Their eyes met, he reached for her, and she knew he belonged with her. Kalleh will have a kitty brother and dog brother at home to play with. He's going to have the absolute best life! 😻

We just hit 7,000 followers, and we are feeling incredibly grateful. 🧡
When we started this journey in 2022, we had about 3,000 people following along. Since then, this community has grown into something so much bigger than a number—it’s become a family of people who care deeply about saving lives.
Because of you:
• Cats like Elliott get a second chance
• Sick, injured, and forgotten kitties receive the care they need
• We can continue saying “yes” when they need us most
Every share, every donation, every kind comment, every adoption… it all adds up. You are a part of every rescue, every recovery, and every happy ending.

Elliott’s Happy Ever After 🧡
Today was one of those moments that reminds us exactly why we do this.
Our garage buddy Elliott found his forever home—with our very own volunteer, Rhonda. And honestly, we’re not sure who chose who… but what we do know is that these two share something really special.
When Rhonda came to pick him up, Elliott had been sound asleep. The second she called his name, he woke up and ran straight to her. It was pure love, and such a beautiful thing to witness.
Elliott’s journey hasn’t been easy. He came to us with severe untreated ear mites—his ears were raw, torn, and bleeding. But with care, patience, and love, he healed into the handsome, affectionate boy we all fell for.
He was even adopted once before, but sadly returned when his family discovered they were severely allergic. Through it all, Elliott just kept loving people the only way he knows how—with his whole heart.
Rhonda had been patiently waiting, making sure it would be a good fit with her resident kitties—and today, she finally brought her boy home. 💕
Elliott is already settling in, relaxing and soaking up the comfort of his new life. Now we just need him to work his magic on his new kitty sisters—we’re pretty sure it won’t take long. 😻
We are beyond overjoyed for our sweet, resilient, lovable boy. You deserve this and so much more, Elliott.

Elliott is on window watch today 💛
This handsome orange boy has been patiently keeping an eye out, watching for his mama to come back from vacation. You can tell he knows she’s coming soon… he just doesn’t know exactly when 🥺
Until then, he’s soaking up the sunshine, keeping guard by the window, and waiting for the moment he gets to go home.
Hang in there, Elliott — your girl will be back before you know it 🧡
