Two of our handsome black panthers found their forever homes yesterday! 🖤🐾
First, Valor finally got to go home with his new family after overcoming a bout of ringworm. His mom first met him at a PetSmart adoption event last month and instantly fell in love, but they had to patiently wait until he was healthy and ready. Valor welcomed them with nonstop purrs, snuggles, and plenty of love!
Sherwood was next to find his happily ever after. His new mom was looking for a friend for her cat Nico, another OCAF alum, and it didn't take long for Sherwood to win her heart. He happily curled up in her lap and made it clear he was ready to head home.
These sweet boys have come such a long way, and we couldn't be happier for them. Congratulations, Valor and Sherwood! Here's to a lifetime of love, cozy naps, and being spoiled exactly as you deserve. 😻🏡💕

🐾 TWICE THE LOVE, TWICE THE PURRS! 🐾
Some families aren't looking for just one cat. They're looking for the perfect pair. ❤️
At our PetSmart adoption event, Iridium and Banner captured the hearts of a wonderful couple who recently purchased a new home and were hoping to add some feline companionship to make it complete.
It didn't take long for these sweet boys to work their magic.
Their gentle personalities, loving nature, and handsome faces quickly won over their new family. Before long, the decision was made... not one kitty, but two!
Now Iridium and Banner are settling into their new home together, where they'll have plenty of room to explore, play, and enjoy life with a family who already adores them.
We couldn't be happier for these boys and their new parents.
Happy tails, Iridium and Banner! Your new adventure is just beginning. 💗🐾

🐾 ARGENT WORKED HIS MAGIC 🐾
Some cats don't need much time to win someone over.
That was definitely the case for Argent. ❤️
At our PetSmart adoption event, Argent turned on the charm and quickly caught the attention of a potential adopter. A few head scratches, some sweet looks, and a little quality time were all it took.
The connection was instant.
Before long, Argent had completely won over his new dad, and the two were clearly smitten with each other. Sometimes you can just tell when a cat has found his person.
We have a feeling there will be lots of snuggles, playtime, and happy memories ahead for this handsome boy.
Happy tails, Argent! We're so excited for your new adventure. 💗🐾

🐾 LUCKY FOUND HIS LUCKY DAY! 🐾
Sometimes the right cat finds the right family at exactly the right time. ❤️
At our PetSmart adoption event, Lucky met a family that had recently lost a beloved cat. While no cat can ever replace the one they lost, their hearts were ready to love again.
The connection was immediate.
Lucky's new family had been hoping to find a companion to help fill the quiet space left behind, and Lucky was more than happy to step into the role. With his affectionate personality, playful spirit, and big heart, we know he'll bring plenty of joy, comfort, and laughter to his new home.
What started as a difficult goodbye has become a beautiful new beginning.
We are so excited for Lucky and his family as they start this next chapter together.
Happy tails, Lucky! We know you're going to be loved beyond measure. 💗🐾

🐾 AFTER MORE THAN A YEAR, CELESTE WAS FINALLY CHOSEN 🐾
Some cats find homes quickly.
Others wait.
And wait.
And wait.
Sweet Celeste spent more than a year in rescue, watching other cats come and go while she patiently waited for someone to see past her shyness.
At our PetSmart event, that day finally came.
Celeste was nervous. In fact, she was so nervous that we weren't able to get an adoption photo. New situations can be overwhelming for her, and that's okay.
But none of that mattered to her new mom.
She saw something special in Celeste and knew she was the one.
As she completed the adoption, tears filled her eyes. She understood that Celeste wasn't just another cat. She was a cat who had waited a very long time for someone willing to give her the patience, understanding, and love she needed.
And someone finally did.
Tonight, Celeste is beginning a brand-new chapter. We know the transition may take time, but for the first time in over a year, she'll be learning what it means to have a home and a family all her own.
Happy tails, sweet Celeste. Your wait was worth it. 💗🐾
