If your program values cow sense, disposition, and horses that stay useful long after the shine wears off, 𝐆𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐲 𝟎𝟎 is the kind of stallion built for exactly that kind of program.
This 2009 gray AQHA stallion is ranch-proven, quiet-minded, and built on the kind of consistency that matters in the real world. Sired by 𝐉𝐨𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 and out of 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞, his pedigree ties together Playgun athleticism with a strong foundation of Doc Bar and Doc’s Tehama blood — and more importantly, he’s passing on the kind of traits people actually want to live with: trainability, level heads, natural feel, and horses that stay broke and get the job done.
𝐆𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐲 𝟎𝟎 isn’t being marketed as flash. He’s being marketed for what still matters most ... usable, dependable horses with the mind and ability to go to work.

The goal isn't to breed more horses.
The goal is to breed better ones.
That's a mindset shift a lot of people miss.
Because standing a stallion isn't about collecting contracts or booking every mare that comes along.
It's about being honest about what your stallion does well, understanding what your mare brings to the table, and making decisions that improve the next generation.
Sometimes that means recommending a cross.
Sometimes it means passing on one.
A good breeding program isn't built on quantity.
It's built on intentional decisions made one mare at a time.
At the end of the day, the horses are the ones that carry your reputation forward...

Just when you think you've got everything figured out...
A horse reminds you there's still plenty left to learn.
Maybe it's a timing issue.
Maybe it's patience.
Maybe it's realizing the answer wasn't nearly as complicated as we made it.
The longer you're around horses, the more you understand that nobody ever truly arrives.
The best horsemen, trainers, breeders, and riders are usually the ones still willing to learn.
And honestly, that's part of what keeps most of us hooked.
Every horse teaches something different.
What's the last thing a horse humbled you on?

Not every mare is the right fit for every stallion, and that's okay. The goal shouldn't be booking every mare that comes along.
The goal should be producing better horses.
That's why the best breeding conversations usually start with questions:
What are your goals?
What do you like about your mare?
What would you improve?
What kind of horse do you want standing in your barn three or four years from now?
Because breeding isn't just about filling a contract.
It's about making intentional decisions that give the next generation the best chance to succeed.
The right cross matters.
↣ DM us to talk about your goals before you ever sign a contract!

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞.
A registration paper.
A bloodline.
A list of names and accomplishments.
What they don't always see is the horse behind it.
The personality. The trust.
The years spent building a partnership.
Because at the end of the day, a good horse is more than what's written on paper.
And while pedigree matters, the horse standing behind it matters just as much.
That's something we'll never lose sight of.

At the end of the day, every horse, deserves to be loved by a little girl who thinks that horse hung the moon… even if that little girl is actually a 36 year old woman. 🤣
