October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month for the humans we love, and the pets we care for too. Breast cancer awareness is crucial for saving lives, even the ones with paws!

Just like humans, early detection saves lives so here are some facts and ways to stay on track of your pets health:

💗 Spaying your pets before their first heat cycle can drastically lower the risk of developing tumors

💗 About 45% of mammary tumors in dogs are malignant, while more than 85% of mammary tumors in cats are malignant.

💗 Pay attention to swelling or changes around the mammary glands, take note of any lumps and bumps you see!
