🐾🌊 THE SEVEN DWARFS LITTER HAS ARRIVED! 🌊🐾
*Note: this is a different litter than the Walmart puppies!*

These seven adorable puppies recently made their grand debut at the McPherson Water Park , where they spent the morning meeting lifeguards and staff, soaking up new experiences, and posing for some adorable photos! 💙☀️

Now, at 8 weeks old, they're ready to start the search for their forever homes!

While breed is only an estimate, these puppies appear to be a Beagle/Chihuahua mix. Both parents weigh under 20 pounds, so we expect these pups to remain on the smaller side as adults.

Submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption or reserve a specific puppy. Adoptions are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once each puppy has received at least one application, additional applications may be accepted as general adoption applications and kept on file for future adoption opportunities. The shelter reserves the right to select the most appropriate home for each animal.

🐾💙 Meet Xerxes – The Sweet, Water-Loving Pup Looking for His Forever Home 💙🐾
At just 4 months old, Xerxes is already proving what a special boy he is. This handsome Shepherd mix may be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a little time and patience, and you'll quickly discover a sweet, loving puppy who just wants to be by your side. 💙
Xerxes has the perfect mix of puppy energy and affectionate charm. He loves getting outside to explore, go on walks, and play, but he's equally happy soaking up belly rubs and snuggling with his favorite people. 🐶✨
One thing Xerxes absolutely loves? Water! Whether it's splashing around or cooling off on a warm day, this boy is always ready for a water adventure. 💦🐾
He does well with other dogs and kids, making him a wonderful candidate for many different types of families. He has not yet been tested around cats.

At 4 years old and around 30 pounds, Milo is the perfect mix of playful energy and affectionate companionship. One minute he’s zooming around with a toy, showing off his silly personality, and the next he’s leaning into you for love and attention 💚

The McPherson Animal Shelter would like to sincerely thank our community for the overwhelming support, generosity, and compassion shown toward the abandoned litter of puppies
currently in our care. The donations, messages, and offers to assist have been greatly appreciated by both our staff and volunteers.

At this time, the puppies are considered to be on a stray hold and are not eligible for foster placement or adoption. In addition, the puppies cannot be adopted until they are at least 8 weeks old.
Once they are of appropriate age and become available for adoption, they will be publicly posted through the shelter.

Our staff continues to work through this situation day by day, and we would also like to extend our gratitude to our county and city departments for their immediate willingness to assist with the puppies' around-the-clock care. Their support has been invaluable
during this time.

To protect the health and wellbeing of the puppies, the shelter will not be offering public visits or meetings with them at this time. We appreciate the public's patience and understanding as we focus on
providing the care they need. Updates regarding future visitation opportunities will be provided when appropriate.

🐾💖 ADOPTED: DIVA FOUND HER FOREVER HOME! 💖🐾

We are so excited to share that sweet Diva was adopted yesterday and is officially headed to her forever home! 🏡✨

This adorable little Corgi/German Shepherd mix completely stole hearts with her sweet personality, unique looks, and loving nature — and now she has a family of her very own to love her forever 💕

Diva came to us as a gentle, affectionate girl who loved squeaky toys, walks, cuddles, and spending time with both people and other animals. We are so happy that she found the perfect family to continue all of life’s adventures with 🐶💖

Thank you to everyone who shared her post, supported the shelter, and helped Diva get noticed. Every share truly makes a difference for homeless pets waiting for their chance at a forever home 🐾
