It is owned by Cory & Melody Martin. I married Cory in 2001, we are parents of two boys, & we enjoy our quiet, slow-paced life. I have owned & loved horses all my life, & I was inspired by the movie "Black Stallion." I purchased a Friesian Sporthorse in 2002, & we constructed our stable barn in 2016.

What an exciting, dreamlike ride today at Castle Driver!

It was a morning surrounded by beauty, horses, laughter, and friendship. Days like today remind me how grateful I am to God for the people He brings and the joy of sharing something we all love.

Nine Friesians and a Gypsy horse gathered to practice our drill team patterns for the upcoming OKC Renaissance and Scottish Festival at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds on November 7 & 8! ⚔️🏰

That spiky-haired baby Friesian! 🖤🐴

Two years ago, Aurora Avail was just four months old, with a spiky little mane!

Back then, her mama provided all the food and comfort she needed, and Aurora was very choosy about spending time with me! 😂

Lorelei spotted flocks of American White Pelicans soaring on their fall migration south.

These birds are HUGE! An American White Pelican can have a wingspan of around 9 feet, making it one of the largest birds in North America. They migrate through Oklahoma in the fall, soaring high on warm air currents.

White pelicans usually catch fish while swimming, dipping their enormous bills into the water.

Our little place is underneath their migration route today. 🤍

Before Cory de-weeded our roadside fence line, we walked it first and found 26 tiny trees growing, including mulberry, cedar, American elm and persimmon. 🌱🌳

Across our land, we’ve flagged a couple hundred young trees so we can protect them as we mow and maintain the property.

The older trees won’t be here forever, so we’re caring for what’s growing up behind them. And one day, our boys may enjoy what we helped sow. 💚
