2026 HRC FALL GRAND GATEWAY RETRIEVERS

This is the 4th Grand I have attempted and also the most dogs I’ve carried into the event, we left with two dogs of the 4 crossing the finish line. There’s so much work, time, care, bit of luck and some heartbreak that goes into getting the green ribbons. I am grateful to their owners for letting me compete and train these dogs at this level, I know it’s an added expense & money doesn’t come easy. Lost Zara in the 2nd Series and Minnie in the 3rd. Camo and Crush had perfect scores going into the 5th series and got the job done! Here are some pics I have now, more ribbon pics to come.

HRCH Camo (1 Grand Pass) owned by Greg Wyatt. Camo was excellent all week, this is my first dog not named Crush to pass the Grand. Very proud of her and what we have accomplished this summer!

Took it on the chin this test. Minnie decided to try to fair catch the second bird out in Series 1 and lost Zara in Series 3. That’s dogs, sometimes they humble you a little.

With the Fall HRC Grand coming up, we are grabbing some camo and a sh***un and we will begin preparing for the GRIND that comes with the green ribbons. Can’t thank Greg Wyatt and Dylan Rice enough for letting me run their girls.
