Moyen size Cavapoo
The dogs pictured are a 16”-17” tall, 20-30 lbs Cavapoo. This size comes from using a Moyen poodle, the Poodle size between a Mini and Standard size, paired with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

This Moyen size is “child sturdy”. We highly suggest that families with babies and toddlers get a dog 20 lbs or more. A dog needs to be physically strong enough to handle children. Our opinion is that very tiny dogs are too fragile for small kids.

Two of the best types of shedding dogs for kids are Retrievers and Cavaliers. The downside? They shed. But, pairing in a Poodle can greatly reduce the hair on the floor.

We have recently done a pairing of Moyen poodle with a Moyen size Cavapoo. This makes the puppies F1b, 75% Poodle. The base colors will be Golden, Red, Black, Merle. They can also have white markings and tan markings.

You’ll take a baby home in February. The size range will be 20-35 lbs as adults. Because of the high percentage of Poodle, the dogs will be non-shed.

Want a really chill Goldendoodle?
Have you heard that Goldendoodles can have more energy and you want really laid back dog?
🩵We have a solution 🩵
Get a Moyen size Cavapoo

This dog is about 25-30 lbs, 17” tall to the top of the back.
He has longer legs, athletic body, great low-shed coat and happy personality.
He looks like a Goldendoodle, right?

🩵THE DOG PICTURED IS A CAVAPOO 🩵
This cute dog is a blend of Moyen size Poodle and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

We have Moyen size Poodles as parent dogs. And we produce Cavapoo who are in the range of 20-35 lbs, just like a Mini Goldendoodle. Yet, these Cavapoo are much more passive, gentle, quiet, chill, easy.

Cavapoo come in multiple sizes based on the size of the poodle parent.

Petite= 8-12 lbs
Mini =12-20 lbs
Moyen = 20-35 lbs

How many Cavapoos do you know that have 2 parents with OFA CHIC?
That means the Poodle and the Cavalier both have OFA testing that meets their breed’s full list of tests.

Example of what it takes to get a CHIC:
Hips X-ray eval by 3 Radiologist
Patella eval by 1 vet
Eyes are CAER checked by an Ophthalmologist
Heart is checked by a Cardiologist.

These results are then sent to OFA for proof and recording. If OFA finds all of this is legit, they certify the dog as OFA CHIC.

In addition we do full DNA panel testing to ensure we know what traits the dog inherited. And we match parents accordingly to ensure your puppy doesn’t inherit a life altering disease.

Check out our web site, Safari Doodles, for more info on how we get all our dogs health tested.
