“Meet Lucy”
A sweet loving 8.5 pound Terrier.
Lucy's story began with hardship, but thanks to our rescue efforts, she's now on the path to happiness and ready for adoption. This sweet girl was taken in from a hoarding situation, with over 50 animals. Despite all the challenges, Lucy's resilience really shines through and despite it all she is a thriving sweetheart full of love.

*Health Update:* Lucy is “heartworm positive”, but we're tackling it with slow kill heartworm prevention. She'll be heartworm-free soon with doxycycline treatment (30 days on, 30 days off). Her vaccines are up-to-date, and she's has received a 12-month ProHeart injection. rabies shot. She's also spayed.

*Personality:* Lucy has a heart of gold and plenty of love to give. Her puppies have found forever homes; now it's her turn.

adoption fee is 450$
Once your application is approved, we require a nonrefundable deposit of 100.00 to hold your puppy until you pick her up. That 100.00 is applied to the adoption fee when you pick up your baby! We do allow out of state adoptions, but the dog must be picked up in Shreveport, LA.

Once your application is done, send us a private message here on the page, so we know to look for your application. Please have a dose of patience once you apply. We are a cast and crew of 5 tired, old women. We are volunteers. We can’t help that our love of dogs can override our good sense. 🤣
For puppies under 6 months, adoption fees start at 350 and include spay/neuter voucher, vet exam, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, and Frontline for flea/tick prevention.

ARC is my rescue group that I try to support whenever possible. I have fostered several cats or kittens for them, most notably Mini Moo who was so sick for so long. They never wavered in getting him the care he needed and giving him every chance to fight off his illness. Moo is now living the good life with my pet client Rachel .
Of course when I found little baby Jilly Belle at Collin County and asked them to tag her , it was done in time for me to go back to the shelter immediately and pick her up at 5pm. She is now our forever baby. I’ve helped others who were looking for a rescue and able to foster to reach out and get the support from ARC . They love cats, all animals actually and do all they can to help.
Rescue is an expensive process and nobody is getting paid. It’s about helping cats in need .
Please help if you can and realize that even $10 helps to add up to giving great care to innocent pets in need.

The family is getting rid if the 2 dogs because they have a vacation planned 6/20 and can’t keep them
Rescue needed! Update on the two little dogs the family wanted gone so they could go on vacation. I picked both dogs up Saturday morning to make sure they wouldn’t be dumped. The red chi has found a rescue but the little terrier boy is still in need. He’s a good boy and is already following me everywhere and has good recall when he goes out to potty. No accidents in his crate, no nipping. He allowed me to reach into the kennel with no issues. His name is Rocky and he’s a handsome little fella about 16lbs.. if I had space I’d foster myself but have too many already and can’t take on another. Please share and help me find a rescue for this cutie. He’s not neutered and most likely has had no vaccines. No apparent health issues I’ve seen he’s about 1yo
