Rock-o’s day began with an 8 am car ride to the radio station for his interview about our upcoming event at the The Waterford Hotel tomorrow night!

He was greeted by a group of therapy dogs! Rock-o has never seen that many people and dogs in one room before and he was SO brave. He met the nice staff and politely but nervously declined treats.

Next, back in the car for a trip to get a pup cup but Rock-o actually prefers an egg sammich so we went with it! He got to spend time at Asbury Woods exploring and practicing build his confidence on leash!

Don’t think the fun stopped there!? Rock-o arrived back at his happy place (Because You Care, Inc.) where he looked forward to seeing his best friend, Mallow!

Both sweet boys are adult, mixed breed dogs. Inquiries can be found at BecauseYouCare.org/pets

Mallow is one dog that’s worth getting to know! A 4 year-old Lab mix with tons of love to give. While he can easily be described as energetic, there’s a thoughtful guy under all that fur.

And it’s no joke! Mallow has waited for so long to find the family that he deserves. He has tons of experience with other dogs and kids. We think that anyone would be lucky to call him their lifelong companion.

Visit BecauseYouCare.org/pets to learn more about Mallow!

When Yetti was just a young pup, he was placed with a family who unfortunately didn’t set him up for success. After being repeatedly attacked by another dog in the home, Yetti found himself in a situation no dog should have to endure.

That’s when BYC was able to step in.

We rescued Yetti, gave him the safety and support he deserved, and quickly discovered what an absolutely amazing dog had been hiding behind everything he’d been through. 🐾👏🏻

Yetti’s first year of life may be part of his story, but it certainly doesn’t define him. His next chapter is the one we’re most excited about. This brave Whippet mix has proven to STILL be able to have relationships with other dogs. His foster brother Beau, was a big help in encouraging him to trust others.

Applications must be submitted by an adult-only family willing to continue private training in his new home! Visit BecauseYouCare.org/pets to meet with Yetti ♥️

This Puggle isn't looking for a new adventure every five minutes. Just a family to spend the golden years with, a comfy place to land, and someone who appreciates a little gray around the muzzle.

Rosco is 6 years old and has a paw full of experience! He's currently living in foster care with other dogs. Rosco is 25 lbs. and has a lot of love left to offer a family of his own. Could that be you? Applications to visit Rosco can be found at BecauseYouCare.org/pets
