You might remember the classic Disney movie Lady and the Tramp, one of TLCbythelake’s favorite stories about loyalty, love, and the special bond between a dog and her family. Do you remember Lady, the sweet and gentle pup who captured everyone’s heart?
Well, get ready—because your heartstrings may be pulled once again.
TLCbythelake would love to introduce you to Lady, a beautiful 12-week-old standard Bernedoodle with a warm, affectionate personality that makes people fall for her quickly. Much like her famous namesake, Lady has a gentle spirit and a natural kindness that draws people in the moment they meet her.
Lady enjoys being close to her people. She’s the type of puppy who happily follows along as you move through the house, settles beside you while you relax, and looks up at you with those soft eyes that seem to say she’s already decided you’re her person.
She’s also showing many of the qualities families look for in a comfort or therapy-minded companion, including:

A calm and easygoing temperament
A strong love of people and attention
Gentle, patient interactions
An observant and intuitive nature
A natural eagerness to please

Now imagine this: you’ve had a long day and finally sit down to relax. Lady trots over, tail wagging, happy just to see you. Before long she curls up beside you, content simply being close. God send me!
Years ago, a very smart, caring, loving son said to me,” When is enough, enough?” My response was,” Every morning I wake up and know what the Lord wants us to do today”. Everyone that has walked into our lives has been a blessing and a learning, maturing and growing experience in our lives.
Jayden Michael Pickrel has been our biggest surprise and again feels like another perfect fitting piece to our 100-piece puzzle.
We ask any that would love to stand, not with us, but with Jayden in celebrating/congratulating him that after 2,318 days in Hosp or Pediatric Centers, 1, 826 of some of those days in Foster Care, he will be adopted and with a big wonderful, crazy, family that Loves him so much.
