Woodwind Farm will be taking a wonderful group of horses and riders to the IASPHA Summer Horse Show the weekend of July 24th–26th. We’re so lucky to have this show so close to home—just a quick 20‑minute drive from WWF to Beyond Stables in Crystal Lake, IL. The Summer Show always brings big classes, great energy, and is truly a fun one to watch.
Before the Saturday evening performance, our very own Woodwind Farm rider, Deidre, will be hosting a FREE ASHBA Youth Event open to all kids—riders, siblings, and friends! We’d love to have everyone join in.
Activities will include:
* Bracelet Making
* Lemonade Bar - with mix and match flavors
* Pizza
* Guest Speaker Brooke Jacobs
* Junior Judging - during the evening performance
Stop by the stands near the outdoor arena anytime after 4:30 to join the fun! Brooke Jacobs will speak to the group around 5pm about how she became a licensed Judge and what she looks for in each class when she is judging a horse show. Kids can then use what they learned to participate in Junior Judging during the show. Awards will be given for 1st through 6th place based on how closely their cards match the official judges’ results.
