🚨 BREAKING NEWS: LOCAL BEEFCAKE REFUSES TO GET A JOB. 🚨

Meet BEEFY. 🥩🐾

Part dog. Part rotisserie chicken. Part speed bump. 100% USDA-certified HUNK.

Beefy has perfected a highly advanced yoga position known as THE FULL SPLOOT™, in which he spreads his back legs like a Thanksgiving wishbone and becomes one with the flooring.

Is he cooling his undercarriage? 🍑
Is he preparing for takeoff? ✈️
Is he auditioning to become a bearskin rug?
YES.

Beefy is currently unemployed, has absolutely no intention of updating his résumé, and is seeking a permanent residence where he can continue contributing NOTHING financially while demanding EVERYTHING emotionally.

His qualifications include:

🥩 A face that looks like it was assembled from spare bulldog parts and pure perfection.

🍗 Thighs that could get their own Costco membership.

🍑 A rear suspension system that has completely given up.

👀 The ability to stare directly into your soul while you eat a sandwich.

💪 A physique best described as “retired nightclub bouncer who discovered biscuits.”

Beefy doesn’t have a six-pack. HE IS THE ENTIRE MEAT DEPARTMENT.

And somehow, this absolute UNIT of a gentleman is still available for adoption.

We’re not saying adopting Beefy will change your life, but imagine waking up every morning to a furry meatloaf doing the splits in your kitchen.

THAT’S NOT A PET. THAT’S A LIFESTYLE. 🤣

🏡 BEEFY IS ADOPTABLE THROUGH CHI-TOWN PITTIES!

🧁🐾 Meet Sassy Cakes—she’s ready for her happily ever after! ❤️

Life hasn’t been easy for this sweet girl. She survived outdoors as a single mama and then lost the beloved caretaker who looked after her. Now, it’s her turn to be cared for, cherished, and loved in a forever home. 🏡

Despite everything she’s been through, Sassy Cakes is playful, loving, and full of life! She does have one little request: please serve her meals on time. 😂 She may offer a few persistent reminders if dinner is late, but she’ll make up for it with cuddles afterward!

This girl has sweetness AND sass—and she gets along with kids, dogs, and cats! 💕

🧁 Domestic shorthair
🎂 DOB: September 18, 2023
📍 Fostered in Machesney Park, IL
🐾 Adoption fee: $125

Let’s give Sassy Cakes the happy ending she deserves. Apply today at RR-Sanctuary.org!

Martin is seriously one of the nicest dogs we have gotten in to rescue in a long time. He was at a high volume animal control in our area and his time was up, but he was such a favorite at the AC that they begged us to make room. We are so glad we were able to take him. He is wonderful.

Marty came to us in pretty rough shape. He had open sores and hot spots and was obviously not well taken care of. Now that he is back in health (he still needs a couple more pounds) he is looking for his forever home. Marty loves other dogs, loves humans even more and is just a doll. He still has lots of youngster energy but is past that crazy puppy stage and would do great with other dogs, or as your only cuddle boi. Come meet him! https://www.adoptahusky.com/home/adoption-process

Meet our featured pup of the week: Moxie!

Moxie loves being outside and is always up for a walk. Moxie would do best in a home with a fence as she enjoys laying outside in the warm weather. Moxie will go in a crate and she is also okay being left out as well. She currently sleeps with her foster parents in bed. Moxie would do best with not being left alone for long lengths of time. She’s misses you too much when you’re gone. She’s a vocal girl that loves to alert you to people walking outside while she watches at the front door. Moxie has been good with kids, but isn’t particularly good at understand her power when she runs and plays. Because of this she will be best with older kids. Moxie is dog selective, but does have a few dog friends she gets along with. A meet and greet will take place with any potential dog siblings.

Another productive day at Glory Bound Rescue Ranch. With the help of our volunteers we primed the plywood and completed the second ground frame for the sheds. As you can see in the pics, we had plenty of animals around to keep us company. Wee are looking to get back out there in the next couple of weeks to get at least one shed construction started. Stay tuned and help us help Glory Bound Rescue Ranch and the animals in their care.
