Cats are not small humans, and their allergies prove it. While we sneeze and sniffle, cats tend to show their discomfort through their skin. Itching, overgrooming and hair loss are often the first signs and they are easy to miss if you do not know what to look for. Schedule a consultation and let's take a closer look. đŸŸđŸŒż

As we continue celebrating Veterinary Assistant Week, we want to recognize another wonderful member of our team! Even though Madeline is newer to our clinic, she has already made such a meaningful impact. She brings a positive attitude to every shift, is consistently kind, and is always willing to jump in and help wherever she’s needed. Her genuine care for her teammates and our clients and patients truly stands out. She approaches each day with enthusiasm and a can-do mindset, never complaining and always ready to support those around her. That kind of energy makes a difference—not just in how our team functions, but in the experience we provide to every patient and client who walks through our doors. We’re so grateful to have her as part of our team and are excited to see all the great things ahead for her here. Thank you for being such a bright and caring presence in our clinic!

Heartworm Disease: A Silent but Serious Threat

Heartworm disease is spread through mosquito bites. What makes it especially dangerous is that pets often show no signs in the early stages, while the parasites are already damaging the heart, lungs, and blood vessels.

Treatment can be difficult, expensive, and hard on your pet. The good news? Heartworm disease is preventable. A simple oral medication (or an injection your veterinarian gives every 12 months) can protect your pet year-round.

Make sure to ask about:
The right heartworm prevention for your pet
Annual heartworm testing

Protecting your pet is easier than treating the disease—prevention truly is the best medicine.

If you have questions about heartworm disease or prevention, our team is here to help! Contact us at 608-838-6115.
