Grindstone Gardens Grindstone farm stand is a collaboration of local farms. We sell a variety of seasonal produce, crafts, and more.

We do not have an organic certification, but we do not spray our crops with toxin. We do it the old fashioned way with compost and rich soil.

PSA: We will not be at the Ooltewah Farmers Market this week. The rain has stopped and this week we will be catching up on succession planting. Some of the crops have not survived the rain but some are happy as can be. Corn has silk!!!!

Good morning community,
We have had more clouds than sunlight lately and so much rain. The rain has not been my friend. I will not have as much variety this week. I will not have lettuce or carrots for two or three weeks.

Yesterday we heard a Bob White Quail on the farm for the first time. Today we found it in my propagation tunnel. It was not shy at all, the kids and I were ten feet away when we saw it. One of God's beautiful creatures, what a blessing.

Yellow squash is in season and that means squash casserole at my house. We sautéed fresh onions garlic squash and River's Ridge Farms Mushrooms incredible mushrooms. Added it to a dish with a few other ingredients. 20 minutes in the over and the kids love it! If you want a large order message me and I can have it ready at the Ooltewah Farmers Market or at the farm stand.
