Everyone, meet 2 Socks!

We are officially beginning to advertise this 4 year old, 14.2 hand gelding. He's with us for a 30 day tune up. This is one we started as a 2 year old. This fella needs someone handy but could be a really fun horse for the right person. Cowboy horse through and through.

Morning routine. If I catch a horse with the intent to make it work I give them a belly full of grain or alfalfa pellets or whatever. Keeps ulcers away and their guts happy, makes them super easy to catch every day cause they’re looking forward to the grain and for young horses that I’m just starting it helps them saddle a lot easier cause I saddle them while they’re eating so they look forward to it.
This is something i really feel is important for horses that are getting worked every day.

Exciting things happening around here! We officially have an arena up and using, books are full for a few months and we have so many amazing clients! Blessed is an understatement.

That all said, we broke down and started a TikTok account to document and compile training content. Go give us a follow on there if you use it!

This young filly had a bad habit of sulling up and threatening to buck unless you tiptoed around her and snuck rides. We don’t do that around here because that’s very dangerous behavior. if they bluff they’ll get their bluff called. She just needed to try it that one time and she never tried again. I’ll post updates on her when I can get some videos

Good morning all!

Rowland Equine Services is implementing a new policy regarding late payments. Beginning immediately, payments that are not made by the due date listed on the invoice will begin accruing a $10 per day late fee. Please keep in mind that balances are due in full before horses may be removed from the property.

Every client receives an invoice within 3 days of dropoff and there will always be an accurate due date on said invoice. If there is a mistake on the invoice, reaching out directly is the best way to resolve the issue.

Payment options remain unchanged and include: cash, check, or online payment.

If for any reason you will not be able to make a payment on time, please make arrangements ahead of time to avoid these additional charges.

Thanks so all of our valued clients for your patience with our new policy.

This 4 yr old grade mare is an absolute sweetheart of a horse. Her name is Nugget. I have a friend that is casually looking to sell her for no fault of her own. He has lots to ride and doesnt always have enough time for her. She is sweet and respectful with children, easy to ride, super broke, comes to a bucket off pasture, great working cows, great with trails or arena work she can go in any direction you’d like. She is one of the easiest horses I’ve ever been around. I’ll be very picky where she goes because this is a horse I care about she deserves a good home with someone that will ride her to her full potential. I will post price in the comments, owner is firm on price. Please feel free to pm me with questions if you’re serious about her I’ll be happy to give my phone number and chat about her and also happy to have serious buyers out to check her out.
