Welcome Jesse!

Jesse is a sweet and beautiful 14 year old blind broodmare with one eye removed, who welcomed her last foal earlier this year and was referred to MVHR by the amazing veterinarians at Roaring Fork Equine Medical Center. We look forward to helping her find the best possible retirement home but however long that might take, she is safe at MVHR. Thank you Roaring Fork Equine for sending Jesse our way!

She has settled in well and enjoys her turn outs in quarantine. Welcome Jesse!

Adoptive Home Update: Daisy!

Daisy’s girl McKayla decided to do her hair one morning because “the rainy day needed something fancy”

It is so heartwarming Daisy found her very own person who takes care of her in every way! Thank you McKayla for choosing Daisy!

Daisy was adopted last year from
MVHR after she recovered from severe malnutrition and was found wandering the streets.

Barbie! …and a sweet lady bug 🐞

This sweet mare has been ready for her new home and we are surprised she’s still here! Yes she has a personality of her own with some sass but she is loyal and will commit to her person for life! She is in her early teens and would be best suited for an intermediate confident rider. Want to come meet Barbie? Contact us today!
