You may have seen Gracie's story in this month's PetLink newsletter. We are happy to share an update on this special little girl!
On May 7th, this tiny kitten was brought to the HSMC Thrift Store by a kind community member. She was so little and had a severely injured front paw. The thrift store team immediately got her to the veterinarian, but unfortunately her damaged paw could not be saved and had to be amputated.
Thanks to the quick actions of caring people and the loving care of one of our dedicated volunteers, Gracie has made an incredible recovery. She recently received her first vaccine, her surgery site is almost completely healed, and she is thriving!
Don't let her three legs fool you. Gracie is brave, playful, curious, and full of energy. Her foster mom says she's ready to begin the next chapter of her journey.
Now all Gracie needs is a family to call her own. She is available for Foster-to-Adopt until she is old enough for her spay surgery and microchip.
Could you be the happy ending this little fighter has been waiting for?
