Hello. My mother, Joanne McDaniel, is a widow living on a fixed income in Clover, SC. She had a female and a male stray cat come to her home this spring. They were both wild and not tame. The female was pregnant and had 6 kittens under my moms shed during the first part of April. One of the kittens was killed by another wild animal as she lives in the woods out in the country. My mom worked through Healthy Pets in Rockhill to trap the adult cats and have them fixed and also gave them shots. The other 5 kittens have survived so far and are now around 12 weeks old. They are eating cat food and we have been trying to work with them to make them more tame and trustworthy. Two are coming around somebut 3 are still very scared. They havenโt had any shots yet. My mother canโt continue to help so many strays and needs help finding homes for the kittens. She is willing to let the 2 adults stay since they are fixed but canโt afford to keep the kittens. If they can be trapped, do you know of a rescue or humane society organization that we can take them to? We are trying to do our best but canโt afford this. Please let us know if you have someone who can help us. Thanks so much.
My cell is (980)329-1048.
