🚨🐾 ZEUS SEARCH UPDATE — OCTOBER 21, 2026 🐾🚨
POSSIBLE NEW SIGHTINGS — SUMMIT, MISSISSIPPI!
After several weeks of very little information, we've received two new possible sightings of Zeus in the Summit area, reported on October 19 and October 21.
We've included a map showing the locations of these reports in hopes that someone nearby may have additional information.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: AT THIS TIME, NEITHER SIGHTING HAS BEEN CONFIRMED TO BE ZEUS.
However, these reports give us something to follow up on, and we're asking everyone in Summit and throughout Pike County to PLEASE keep watching!
🐾 ZEUS HAS BEEN MISSING SINCE SEPTEMBER 21.
Zeus, a large black Great Dane mix with a white chest and gray around his muzzle, disappeared following a terrible vehicle accident on I-55, just south of the Summit exit.
His owners, Shari and Charles Shackelford, were injured in the accident and are still recovering. Their greatest wish is to bring their beloved boy home to South Carolina.
❤️ WE TRULY NEED YOUR HELP!
If you live, work, or travel near Robb Street, Robb Street Extension East, Summit Exit 20A, or the surrounding communities, please be on the lookout.
📸 IF YOU SEE A DOG RESEMBLING ZEUS:
• Take a photo or video from a safe distance.
• Document the exact location, time, and direction of travel.
• Report the sighting immediately, even if you're not certain it's Zeus.
🚫 DO NOT CHASE, APPROACH, OR CALL OUT TO HIM!
If this is Zeus, he may still be in survival mode. Approaching or chasing him could cause him to run farther away.
We have experienced volunteers ready to help verify sightings and coordinate humane trapping efforts when we can establish his location.

🙏 PLEASE KEEP SHARING AND PUTTING OUT FLYERS! *Flyer is attached in the comments*
FLYERS WORK WONDERS! Not everyone uses social media, and someone may have seen Zeus without knowing a family is desperately searching for him.
We're grateful to the good people of Summit and Pike County who continue helping with this search. Your willingness to watch, share information, and help a family you've never met means more than you know.
We still don't know where Zeus is, but we're not giving up.
❤️ ONE CONFIRMED SIGHTING COULD CHANGE EVERYTHING!
Please keep Zeus and his family in your prayers.
