Jumanji is a special 2-year-old guy who was surviving as an outdoor cat...without eyes. He was found walking in circles on a property and brought to MCPAWS.

Our vets looked at him, and it seems that his eyes just never developed. He is very kind and sweet, and would love to be able to relax in a home and be spoiled. He will need to be an indoor cat since life outdoors is a very dangerous place for a blind cat. Do you have a place in your heart and home for a very special fella?

Meet Jack: The Pint-Sized Pup with a Giant Heart!

Age: 7 Months | Personality: Sweet, Energetic, and a Little Shy | Kids: Yes

Looking for a little extra sweetness in your life? Meet Jack, an adorable 7-month-old pint-sized (30 lbs) pup who is ready to find his forever family! Jack is the perfect blend of puppy energy and gentle charm, and he can’t wait to bring a whole lot of love into a home.

Jack is a naturally sweet guy who absolutely loves the people he knows. Because he can be a little shy when meeting new friends, he’s looking for a family that understands the value of patience. With a patient introduction and a few tasty treats, his true, affectionate personality shines right through! His former family notes that he does wonderfully with children, making him a great fit for a home with kids who can respect his boundaries while he builds up his confidence.

At 7 months old, Jack is at that wonderful, goofy age where everything is an adventure. He has plenty of puppy energy to burn and will love going on walks, playing in the yard, and exercising his brain with puzzle toys.

To help him grow into the best adult dog he can be, Jack is looking for a home dedicated to continuing his socialization and positive reinforcement training. He is incredibly eager to please, and fun training sessions will be a fantastic way to bond with him while building up his confidence around new sights and sounds.

We haven't seen Jack around other dogs yet, so any canine introductions should be done slowly and carefully. If you have the time, love, and a pocket full of treats to help this sweet boy blossom, Jack is ready to be your loyal sidekick!

Nova is a young, 1-year-old dog looking for an active home through Home to Home. She is looking for a cat-free home where she will get plenty of exercise. She gets along with other dogs and loves to play!

😍Happy Tail Story Time!

Do you remember Niko? Niko was at MCPAWS for over a year back in 2018. After a lot of work, he found his forever home in March 2019, and he is still living the good life! Here is his pupdate from his family:

Monday was Niko's 7th year with us. He has been an absolute treasure. He's never been naughty, unlike his sisters. We could leave a steak out on the table for 5 minutes, and he would not touch it.

He is such a blessing. He is a water baby. Absolutely loves to be in the water, whether it's in the river or from a garden hose. He loves having his tummy rubbed and, still to this day, has to be right next to me with at least one paw on me.

He is seriously the best dog I've ever had. We love him so much and are so grateful for the time he spent in your care. He learned a lot of manners with you all, and you prepared him for us. Thank you!

📣We have several new awesome dogs now available for adoption, and we are working on transferring in some adult cats from other shelters (stay tuned)! 😻 If you are looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy, you should come meet Squirtle.

Squirtle is a 10-month-old mixed breed who is ready to find a family who will provide him with lots of training and exercise. Ten months is such a fun age where that "puppy energy" starts to meet a real desire for engagement and learning. This guy is still all wiggles and silly antics. He'd do great in an active home where he will go for walks, runs, hikes, swims, etc. He is looking forward to seeing what summer in McCall is all about! 🌄

🐾Introducing Hoyt! Hoyt is a young 11-month-old boy with the best ears ready for adoption! This sweetheart greets everyone with a tail wag and a kind hello. Hoyt is definitely an active dog and would love a home where he can go for walks, hikes, and any other adventures! At only 38 pounds, he’ll make a great travel companion. He is brand new at MCPAWS, so we are still getting to know him. But we do know he is a sweetheart!

🐕Meet Barley! This sweet 1-year-old girl is the definition of a social butterfly. She has successfully lived with kids, dogs, and cats in the past, making her a fantastic candidate for a bustling household. She brings a lot of energy to the room and would love an active home where she can go on daily walks, hikes, runs, etc.

While Barley already knows a few basic commands, she’s still a youngster who hasn’t had a ton of formal schooling. She’s eager to please and ready to learn, but she will need a family dedicated to continuing her training so she can blossom into the absolute best girl she can be! She does jump up, so small kids may not be the best fit.
