This woman is looking to rehome her dog, can anyone help?

Hello, my name is Megan and this is my girl Molly. She is a very sweet 3 1/2 year old boxer lab mix, she a large dog and is roughly 45-50 pounds. She is not fixed and will need to get a routine check up done soon! She is very hyper and needs someone who will give her a lot of attention and exercise. She would do much better by herself as she doesn’t do great with other dogs. She is a big cuddle bug and she has done amazing with my son ( he is 2 1/2 and he is her favorite person )

UPDATE: SNOOPS HAS FOUND A HOME, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP!

Meet Snoops, a 16 year-old beagle. Snoops' owner is going into assisted living and cannot take her with her. Snoops enjoys walks and being outside, and gets along with other dogs as long as they aren't too rambunctious (i.e. puppies). Snoops needs a new home through no fault of her own, and we are hoping someone will take this sweet girl in. If you are interested in adopting Snoops, please send us a message.

We want to bring to your attention the importance of Heartworm prevention for your dogs. Heartworm is spread through mosquitoes. Our clinic is aware of at least one heartworm positive dog in Cadillac (who hasn't received treatment), which means it's possible for other dogs in the Cadillac area to contract Heartworm. If you need help choosing a heartworm preventative for your dog, contact the clinic and we will help!

Recently, we had a client who had been exposed to a bat that was found on the ground during daylight hours. We humanely euthanized it, sent if for testing, and it came back positive for Rabies.

Rabies is in the wildlife in our area!

Today, a client called who found a raccoon that was staggering and acting drunk in their backyard. This behavior is consistent with Rabies!

If you encounter an animal that you suspect has Rabies, stay away and call animal control and the health department. Make sure your animals (including horses) are up to date on their Rabies vaccinations.

If you must immobilize the animal, please do not damage the head, as they need the head to test for Rabies. If you have any exposure to the animal, including physical contact or saliva/bodily fluids, the health department will determine whether you need to undergo prophylactic treatment.
