Fall/winter is a great time to get intentional about your horsemanship.

We’re putting together a couple of clinics focused on building better communication, improving consistency, and adding tools to your training program that you can use long after the clinic is over.

This horse means the world to me, but my passion is training & placing winners, and I feel confident she is ready to be that for someone else.

Hot Donnah
4-year-old mare | 15.2 hands
California Cash 37 x Belles Bit of Ginger

Ruby Buckle • Tomorrow’s Legends • Future Fortunes

From her very first entry almost a year ago, she has made the same run every time. You can ride her one-handed & kick. She has only hit one barrel her entire career and is incredibly honest.

HD has recent 1D super-show stats and plenty of rodeo stats. I’ve run her in quite possibly every setup and ground condition you could imagine, and she has risen to the occasion every time. She is extremely ground smart and knows how to take care of herself.

If you don’t like gritty mares, she likely isn’t for you. She is tough, competitive, and wants to do her job. Zero buck rear etc. Eats and drinks great on the road. Does not run on anything.

I truly believe this mare will help someone accomplish some big goals. I think she would especially excel in a rodeo home, although she has proven she can hold her own at super shows too.

Full set of X-rays on file. She has been routinely vetted every 3–6 months throughout her career and has been kept on a consistent 6-month Adequan schedule.

Hot Donnah running 23rd out of 430 head at IBRA Nationals (Go 2) running her personal best in this arena ✨

Her first barrel is my absolute favorite 🩶

I sometimes forget that this mare is just 4 and I’m so excited to see all she accomplishes this next year!

I am so excited about this one 🥰

Elle didn’t make her first competition run until May, so we’ve been playing catch-up all summer. From rodeos to futurities, this mare has been a team player and handled everything I’ve thrown at her, even stepping up and placing at a couple of rodeos along the way.

She finished our futurity year on a high note, finishing 2nd in the 1D at the final MBFA race and 11th out of 169 in the Open! 🔥

I’m excited to watch this mare continue to come into her own with Kelley Hughston. 💙

Oh Dolly girl 🩶 If I had to ride into battle she’d be the one I’d pick.

We wrapped up the MBFA season with a bang. Placing 2nd in the first go of the futurity and 5th overall in the jackpot. She came back and placed 3rd in the 2nd go and ended up winning us the futurity average against 30 some pretty jam up horses.

I cannot wait to watch her and her new rider Haylee Fisher kick some butt and look good doing it!

10+ years training horses, and I can confidently say I still have so much to learn. These three mares were a pretty great reminder of that.

They challenged my routine, tested my patience, and taught me that sometimes you just have to embrace a little bit of chaos.

It didn’t matter if we came in on two wheels, had a terrible warm-up, or I didn’t ride my best. When it was time to run, they showed up.

Three very different mares, but one thing they all have in common—they’re winners to the core, with more grit than I could ever teach them.

As we finish up our futurity year, I’m just really grateful for everything these three have taught me along the way.

Dolly is my party girl 🔥 and I can’t help but feel a little emotional knowing our last weekend together is coming up.

She made two 1D futurity runs this weekend at the IBRF and finished 25th in the average out of 130 futurity horses.

Dolly is hands down one of the most consistent, solid, and FUN four-year-olds I’ve ever run. She shows up, tries every single time, and has made this year so much fun.

This weekend was not quite what I was expecting (IYKYK 😵‍💫), but I’m thankful for gritty mares that always find a way to show up.

Hot Donnah was still very much in rodeo mode for Go 1 of the Indiana Barrel Futurity. We made a few changes going into Go 2, and she came back to finish 6th overall in the round out of 130 horses, adding almost $1,500 to her LTE.
I lost my stirrup and she basically said, “buckle up, I’ve got it.” 😂

After a weekend that didn’t quite go according to plan, I’m extra thankful for this run and for God’s blessings through it all. 🤍
