Here he is with his new hooman! He made it to Wisconsin and loves it there, and loves his new hu-mom. He says the weather is nicer so far too.

He is the most adorable thing! Also hi I’m Carly, the new owner. I feel so lucky that I found him and Terri Lynn Nutter ✨

He warmed up so quickly. Now we get to have all the baby space conversations ☺️

So, we got this new thing... she called it a splash pad... ...we already have a wet sand wallering spot... and she called us over when we were eating hay... maybe some other time...

Besides, clouds are gathering and we will be getting a shower!

Maybe some ducks will visit us! That would be fun... new frens are always fun!

Energesanté, son of Santi (the other stallion in the "boys corner" of Rockin The Dots), is on his way to his new home. You can see Odori and me saying our goodbyes. We hear he was a very good boy loading into the trailer...
..we hope he has a good time with his new hooman!

HOW MUCH FOR A FOAL?
To anyone who calls and hears the price and says “I can buy a cheaper foal somewhere else” or the person who doesn't care about papers because I want “just a pet or a happy hacker”.
No foal is “just a pet and a happy hacker”.
Behind every foal is a BREEDER. A serious breeder does not breed foals without documents that protect the integrity of the breed.
Registration papers are records of ancestry documenting the bloodline and enabling you to investigate possible health problems in your lineage.
When you tell a breeder you don't care about the papers, just tell them you don't care about the foal’s health, you just want the cheapest thing you can find!
If you choose to buy a foal from a reputable and quality breeder, this breeder is responsible for every foal’s health.
This breeder will skip holidays, and family gatherings , miss sleep for weeks on end, and most of their personal time is dedicated to their horses and their well being. The truly passionate breeder, who loves what they breed, puts all of their time into it. Not only for foals that are sold, but also for every customer who owns a piece of their heart and is now a member of their large family. Breeders worry about their babies after leaving and want the best outcome for purchaser and foal.
A breeder will get his hands dirty, often covered in everything that comes with birth. Because that's what life is all about... in the midst of birth and death is life. For every foal that is sold there are ones that don’t make it and a little bit of the breeders heart breaks along with the foal. A breeder conducts ultrasounds, analytics, emergency vet calls, vaccinations, registrations, researches pedigrees, deworming, hoof trims and provides the base start for the future of the foal.
Last but not least, a breeder CHOOSE the family who is lucky enough to have one of their foals.
A real breeder chooses who they sell to.
There really is no compensation that can offset the investment the breeder has made.

Harley! working hard with his hooman as always...

Meet Harley🐎
He's not a champion. He's never won a single dollar.
He's a 950kg American Sugarbush Harlequin Draft. His job is to be the "lead pony" at Keeneland and Churchill Downs: he walks the nervous Thoroughbreds to the gate and calms them down.
We call him the most recognizable rear end in American racing — you'd know that black-dotted rump anywhere.
While everyone's talking about Baffert and Irad Ortiz Jr., the real boss on track day is him.
Question: if you could have a lead pony like Harley for your own life, what moment would you want him to es**rt you through and calm you down before the "go"?
