I want to thank the Rio Grande City Animal Control Department for taking care of these two great dogs. Yukon and Kodiak are now getting ready for the next chapter in their lives. I would also like to thank Nancy Sparks for sponsoring them. Nancy works so hard for any animal she sees in need. With no hesitation, she said We have to save them. Rescuing dogs is not an easy thing to do. We understand the responsibility we take on with every life we save. Have a great day!

What a wonderful way to start the morning!

Our day began with some fantastic news as two beautiful Huskies left our kennels for a brighter future.

A heartfelt thank you to Nancy Sparks for stepping up to help these amazing dogs. These Huskies had been in our care for quite some time, and unfortunately, no owner came forward to claim them. Thanks to Nancy’s dedication and commitment to animal welfare, these Huskies are now on their way to a new beginning filled with hope and care.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Alfred Prince of Paws-N-Puppies for his assistance in helping in fostering the Huskies. His willingness to help and support this effort made a meaningful difference in giving these dogs a second chance.

RGC Animal Control is grateful for community members and rescue partners like Mr. Alfred Prince, Paws-N-Puppies, and Nancy Sparks who work alongside us to provide homeless animals with the opportunity for a better life.

Together, we are making a difference—one life at a time.

Hello Everyone. Just picked up these two beautiful puppies. Roxy and Trixy. They will be vetted and will be going to Homeless to Home Husky Rescue at the end of this month. I would like to thank Sharon for sponsoring them. We could not be doing this without her help. Have a great day!😁

Hello Everyone. We had a great fundraiser this past Sunday at the McAllen Convention Center - Pokefest! We would like to thank Margaret for sponsoring our table and we would also like to thank Rancho Nevado Ice-cream Shop for giving away free ice cream cones to everyone that donated. Milo came in very emaciated and lethargic. He was also getting over a bad case of mange. I would like to thank Gloria Gonzalez for treating him in time and taking care of him, even though her rescue was full at the time. I would also like to thank Nancy for sponsoring him.
