🐎 I have two people who have recently reached out to me looking to purchase their next companion. I offered to make a post here to see if any of our connections had any leads.

When I asked them what they were looking for...

🐴Gentle, safe, sound horse age 2-10, open to older if it's healthy, no/minimal maintenance. Can ride out alone. Not black (as that was the last horse color). Lower budget.

🐴Any breeds, either s*x, age 10-17 y/o all fine.

🌟 Both would be great owners, lots of love and patience. Horse(s) would be kept here at our farm. Used primarily as trail horses. Distance within reason to the greater Sauk/Dane/Iowa County area or a few hours preferred but traveling a little farther isn't a solid no for the right horse(s).

Please reach out or share if you know anyone looking to rehome, sell, get out of horses, ect.
If more details are needed I can get them.

"You cant make hay unless you cut it". That was the quote of this last week. Cutting hay always has us looking at the weather over and over, second guessing should we cut or should we wait? We had a small window with no rain but lots of humidity and I knew it was going to be hard but the hay needed to be cut, it had grown well. We dodged pop up rain storms and finished the first half of second crop last night! Making horse hay is much different than cow/cattle hay. Horse hay needs to be dry dry dry. We only bale under a certain moisture percent. This time around we had a field too high for our liking and chose to sell it. Thankful we have connection that makes it possible to do this. We pride ourself in the hay that we make, feed and sell. It's not easy but it's a legacy to keep going.
