FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 💙

We’ve been getting lots of questions about our new hospital, so we thought we’d answer a few of the most common ones!

• When will you open?

We’re currently renovating our new space and are hoping to open our doors as early as December 2026. We’ll keep you updated as construction progresses!

• Where are you located?

We’ll be located right in Mayville, NY between the Chautauqua Suites and Dollar General on Rt. 394
Address: 201 West Lake Road Mayville, NY 14757

• What types of pets will you see?

We’ll be providing veterinary care for dogs, cats, exotics, and poultry!

• What services will you offer?

Our goal is to provide comprehensive veterinary care, including wellness and preventative medicine, sick-pet visits, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and more. Urgent Care/ Emergency appointments will be available during operating hours only. We’ll share more details about our services and hours of operation as we get closer to opening.

• Can I make an appointment yet?

Not quite! We’re not open for appointments yet, but we’ll announce when scheduling becomes available. Keep an eye on this page for updates!

• Why is it taking so long to open?

We’re putting a lot of care into transforming the space into a hospital we can be proud of. There’s plenty happening behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to serve the community!

Thank you for your patience and excitement as we build something special for Mayville and the surrounding community. We can’t wait to meet you — and, of course, your four-legged family members! 🐾

As we get closer to CCHS Pet Expo '26, Saturday, October 17th at the Northwest Arena, we’re excited to highlight one of our brand‑new interactive exhibits, Grossology: The Hidden Health of Pets!

This family‑friendly experience dives into the messy, fascinating, and surprisingly important side of pet ownership. You’ll explore hands‑on artifacts, models, and real‑world examples that show how the “gross stuff” our pets leave behind can actually reveal clues about their health.

By the time you walk out, you might be a little less “yuck!” and a lot more “hmm…”, maybe even ready to grab a magnifying glass the next time your pet leaves you a mystery to solve.

Get ready to learn, laugh, and discover the science behind the ick.
Grossology is waiting for you at Pet Expo ’26!

Thanks to and Moonbrook Veterinary Hospital for supporting Grossology!
