This is our dog Felix who we adopted from Tennessee at 5 months old. He is 9 months now and still a puppy. He is a lab mix. We are still trying to figure out what the other breeds are - he seems to be a mix of things - beagle, hound, pointer and maybe even dalmation.

Our cat Shadow is a talker - he meows alot and we really wish we could translate what he is saying! He is very fun to play with and is also very acrobatic and agile. But when he is deep in thought don't bother him. He looks like he is trying to solve the world's problems so he needs to be left alone.

We call our cat Jinxy our therapy cat. She is always calm and happy to be picked up. She loves meeting new people and will greet everyone at the door with what we call her "pop up snuggle."She loves to rest on your chest which is very calming because she has a soft beautiful purr that never seems to stop.

Mya & Minnie have travelled to the US all the way from India.

Mya is very shy and takes her time getting to know new people. Once she gets to know you she is very gentle and friendly and loves a good belly scratch.

Minnie definitely has alot of pep in her. Her signature trait is stopping in the middle of a walk and rolling around, something she probably did in "the old days." You just never know when she is going to do this so walks with her can be a little unpredictable.

Mingo is a lovebird. Once you meet him you understand how these birds get their name. He loves to fly and perch on your shoulder. Sometimes he makes his way down your arm and will even watch TV with you!

Princess & Pandy were taken in by the nicest mom who has really bonded with them. They are very shy and aloof with strangers because sadly they have been abused by a previous owner. Since they are so shy they do not even come out for food until after we leave. We always check to make sure they are okay. Sometimes this is tricky because they hide from us! Hence we cannot post a photo of them.

Mila is a bit shy but she is very, very sweet. She loves to be petted and sit on your lap. She will let you pick her up if you hold her close to your chest. She is also asthmatic so we are sure to give her medication for this every morning.

This beautiful Saluki dog named "Bdu"captured our hearts right away. Although he is shy with strangers at first he came around pretty quickly. Saluki dogs are one of the world's oldest breed of dogs. Their roots trace back to back to ancient Egypt. Salukis were the hunting hound of kings for thousands of years. They are swift and agile sprinters who love a good chase. They make gentle, dignified, and independent but loyal pets.
