** UPDATE #2 -- Thank you to everyone who has reached out for Teddy! However, since we have not received any applications (in person or online), he has been given the opportunity for placement at the Humane Society of Marshall County and will be available for adoption through their facility starting tomorrow! Be sure to watch their page for his post and ways to apply for adoption!
** UPDATE **
Due to the high volume of people wanting to love Teddy and give him his forever home, we will be accepting applications through end of day tomorrow. To place an application, you can come by the facility and fill out a paper application or submit an application online by clicking the link below. Thank you to all those who are already showing Teddy he is wanted and loved!

We want you to meet Teddy.
Teddy here was adopted from us last year in December.
While he is a great dog, his adopters returned him as caring for him became to much for them.
Teddy is potty pad trained - but not to go outside. He is leash trained and does well with other animals as well as kids.
He is almost 6 years old. Originally coming to us in November of 2025 as a stray, it is clear that Teddy needs a home with stability. Someone who is able to take him into their home and love him forever. Someone who won't bring him back because it's too much or drop him on the street to be found as a stray again.
Teddy will be due for his basic adult boosters on 11/30/2026. His Rabies vaccine is still current through 1/14/2027. He is already neutered and just needs you to take him home.
If you would like to give Teddy his forever home - fur real this time - you can come meet him during normal business hours Tuesday through Saturday from 12-4. For any questions, please contact the shelter at (270) 251-0130, by email at [email protected], or send us a message on Facebook!
