Finally I have time to think of classes!! Here are the POSSIBLE weekends for classes til our trial in April. This is just a heads up to put on your calendars. I will post two weeks before each weekend to sign up. They are in Inver Grove Heights and are $30/dog. I’m will have details for signing up when I post.

BARN HUNT BLAST 8!!!!

Who’s ready for a spooky, rat hunting, good time??? Yep, it’s our yearly Blast on Saturday October 31st…/Halloween!!!!
We will be starting at 9:00 with run throughs in a Novice/Open/Senior course. $5/run. Runs will be approximately 5 minutes each. Sign up for those will start at 8:30.
I will also be doing a free Intro seminar for new dogs to the sport. That will start at 10:00. You MUST email me at [email protected] to reserve a spot. Please include your name, your dog’s name and breed. It is limited to 15 dogs. For those that signed up, I will be sending confirmation emails with more details.
We will also be having a pot luck lunch. If you are planning to attend and bringing a dish to share, please comment so we can see what is needed to fill any voids.
Since it’s Halloween, it is only appropriate to have a costume contest. Gift certificates for a free trial entry or a class with me will be handed out to the top three costumes, human or a furry pup or combo!! So start your creative thoughts.

Here are all the titles earn at the September trials in Hutchinson. Congrats to all that earned a ribbon and to those that had breakthrough moments and most importantly just had FUN!!! Share pick or comment about your experience.

Thank you to all that attended our September trials in Hutchinson. As always we had GREAT volunteers who stepped up when asked and some that are just always ringside waiting to jump in. You all are greatly appreciated and help make our trials run so smoothly. Barb, our lunch lady, fed us all with some goodies from her garden and those that brought treats to share…thank you. Set up and clean up went so smooth. It’s great having people that know the routine and helping others learn it. I can’t do this without your help whether it’s the ability to lift and pack the bales or lighter work like sweeping or taking apart the puzzle mats under the tarp. It’s all appreciated!!! The judges had awesome courses and Ella did great being a B judge. Even though is rain a bit, I have to say the weather was perfect. It didn’t hail, no sirens, ice or a snow storm. 🤣 A final thank you to my committee and Brenda my secretary. This club would be what it is without you. ❤️❤️

We will have DOS each day, unless a wave of entries come in, for the Hutchinson trials. So if your plans fell through or find some extra time to come and play, we’d love to see you and your pups!! Weather will be nice and cool for great scent flow and hunting!!! Barb, our lunch lady, is bringing some fresh garden goodies, tacos Saturday and hot turkey sandwiches with salads on Sunday. YUMMY!!! I’m not saying anything about the weather!! 😉
