Day…. 05/20/26…. Part 2 (literally less than 10 mins after getting home and kicking my shoes off).

The neighbor called and wanted it gone. I saw the picture and told them it was a nonvenomous Checkered Garter Snake, and that I was on my way. I get there, and this little one had just eaten (look at that tummy)! I truly don’t like to relocate snakes when they have just eaten because a snake regurgitating its food is very dangerous for them. But, I safely got it in the bucket and relocated to a utility hole where it can digest its food in peace

Day…. 05/20/26…. Part 1

First of all, this page is a judgement free zone. We are here to educate. Period!

A neighbor had a “large spider” in their garage they wanted gone. I locate the spider and tell the neighbor my thoughts on what it is. The neighbor said they would “feel so stupid if that is what it is”. I told that neighbor to not let ANYONE make them feel stupid about anything they find. Our service is relocating snakes, but sometimes we are needed for others critters. We do what we always do and educate. This spider did turn out to be harmless and beneficial. I private messaged the neighbor and let them know the spider’s importance in the case they see it again. The neighbor was very thankful.

The spider was one of my favorites 💕 Technically called a Harvestman, but known to many as a Daddy Longlegs

It was a two for one moment just now! Got a text for a rat snake at one house that would kindly like said snake find a new home, so we obliged. On the way out (just two doors down) the neighbor was about to text us about a rat snake they just found! Rat snake 1.0 and rat snake 2.0 shared the same home briefly while we went to relocate them.

Thank you to the neighbors for reaching out to us!

We got the call of a baby rattlesnake near mailboxes. So, as usual, we head immediately there. Come to find out, some kids found it and placed it on-top of a communications box. AS A SIDE NOTE, NEVER HANDLE ANY SNAKE BARE HANDED UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE WHAT IT IS! We get there and it is a baby rattlesnake. Unfortunately, it was barely moving, and completely dehydrated. We relocated it and left water near by it just in case it can drink some. But, as always, this is the circle of life. We will go check back up on it later to see if it is still there.

It was a busy day Friday as well as today that I completely forgot to post this little guy I relocated in Buda, TX in between meetings on Friday! It was well worth the break I needed before going back to the grind!

I always feel bad when I miss a call of someone needing a relocation, especially when it’s a rattler. But the call came in and I was already asleep. Luckily, the neighbor was able to safely secure the rattler in a bucket. When I woke up this morning, I immediately contacted the neighbor and apologized immensely. They informed where the snake was in the bucket. So on my way into work I got the snake transferred to my bucket and relocated in a brush field.

As always, if you feel you can safely put a bucket over the snake with a weight on top, that is the best until a relocator can come out. Again, DO NOT place yourself in danger of getting bit!

Not a snake relocation, but a Red-Eared Slider relocation! When you see turtles crossing a road, always carry them (safely) to the other side of the road in the direction they were heading.

This little lady has been wondering the dry side of our neighborhood for a while. We have no idea where she came from. So, I moved her to the retention pond that is on the other side of our neighborhood. Let’s just say she seemed to be happy to be near water again!

Relocated this cute rattler who was just chilling in a work yard. When I received the call, I asked if they were able to cover the rattler and place a block on the cover till I got there, and they said yes. I also told them if they just leave it alone and block off the area so no one bothers it, it most likely wont go anywhere. So they blocked the area off. I got there in about 40 mins and the little one was still there just curled up not bothering anyone. I safely got it into the bucket and released into a brushy area away from people, livestock, businesses, and homes. 💕

I seriously love these calls! Our neighbor called us for a snake in their utility connection point. They sent us this picture of this cute garter snake (non-venomous). After educating them of the garter snake’s purpose, the neighbor still wanted it removed.

Where was it removed to??? Our yard!
