To know Mr. John was to love him. He was “Paw” to all of the girls in the barn. At shows you could hear him from the ringside golf cart speaking words of encouragement to every Cambridge rider walking in the ring followed by words of praise as they crossed the timers or finished their closing circles. He was one of the first to lend a helping hand whether that’s in the barn or in the Halloween Show cooking tent. To say he will be missed by everyone is a major understatement. He will forever be our Cambridge “Paw”.

Please keep the Fontenot family, Damon, and Emmie-Grace in your prayers. Cambridge Strong.

As much as we love sharing the horses and this special place with everyone, we have new rules:

1. Cambridge Stables is CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC and only will accept visitors/tours by appointment only. This is a business AND a private residence. Please be respectful and do not show up unannounced or without permission. You will politely be asked to leave and to schedule an appointment or lesson to return.

***This rule does not apply to boarders.***

2. DO NOT ENTER THE BARN IN OPEN TOED SHOES. Meaning if your toes are exposed, you will be asked to wait in the car. This includes, but not limited to - parents, siblings, cousins, maw, paw, friends, etc.

Please understand that both of these rules are put in place and will be reinforced. We prioritize safety and these rules will help keep our riders, horses, and staff safe.
