To all our friends and family that visit our store here in Mattoon, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ezra Weber. Ezra worked for us for close to a year and during that short time, we got to know Ezra very well. Ezra had a big heart; he never knew a bad day and always had a smile on his face. Ezra took great pride in assisting customers and associates alike during his time here. Ezra went to be with our Lord and Savior and that is of great comfort, but please join us in praying for Ezra's family and friends, as he will be greatly missed.

To all our friends and family that visit our store here in Mattoon, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marcie Thomas. Marcie was our department lead over clothing & footwear, and she had been with us for 8 years and was hands down one of the best team members we have ever had. We wanted to let you all know as some had not yet seen that she had passed, and you all meant so much to her. She loved helping and take care of anything she could when you needed assistance. Marcie went to be with our Lord and Savior and that is of great comfort, but please join us in praying for Marcie's family and friends, as she will be greatly missed. 🙏

Turns out the best harvest of the season didn't come from the field. 🌾

It came from thousands of neighbors who gathered in Mattoon for Harvest of Hope 2026, an evening of worship, music, and giving we won't soon forget. From Mercy Me on stage to families singing side by side under the open sky, it was a reminder of what faith and community can do together. 🙏

Thank you to WBGL, our incredible team, and every single one of you who showed up. What was your favorite moment from the night? WBGL Harvest of Hope Family Concert
