Drought doesn’t just hurt pastures—it drives up hay prices, stresses livestock, and puts serious pressure on operations of every size.

At Hangin’ B Livestock & Forage, we work with producers across drought-affected regions every day, and we know how hard these conditions can hit.

Because of that, we wanted to share an important resource from the USDA.

The USDA’s Livestock Forage Disaster Program (LFP) may provide financial assistance to eligible livestock producers who have suffered grazing losses due to qualifying drought conditions or wildfire. If you’re feeding heavier than normal, hauling in hay, or struggling with pasture loss, this may be worth looking into.

Kindly note that the appearance of the hay may vary due to barn storage conditions. As a result, we are offering this exceptional alfalfa at a discounted rate of $17 per bale, yielding a saving of more than $5 per bale. Our premium alfalfa has garnered positive reviews, including a recent delivery of 180 bales to C&C barrel horses, which their mounts thoroughly enjoyed.
