🐾 Maddie’s Meow of the Week 🐾
Each week, our volunteer Maddie conducts highly scientific feline evaluations involving petting cats, accepting headbutts, and taking detailed notes on their quirks.
✨ This Week’s Cat: Vivian Tatertot ✨
From her official bio:
Vivian Tatertot came to the shelter with her kittens after they were found living outside. While we'll never know exactly how they ended up there, the family was well-socialized and clearly familiar with people. This sweet, gentle 6-year-old girl enjoys attention and should fit well into just about any home looking for a friendly feline companion. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Maddie's take:
Vivian Tatertot is a woman who knows what she likes and sees absolutely no reason to change her routine. Every time I've visited the cat room, she's been in the exact same spot, living her best life and judging everyone else's poor decision-making.
She's giving "hard-working single mom who finally gets five minutes to herself" energy. A little scruffy? Yes. A little tired? Maybe. Still incredibly sweet? Absolutely.
Vivian enjoys hand-holding, gentle head bumps, and showing off her elite stretching abilities. If competitive stretching were an Olympic sport, she'd be bringing home the gold.
She's the kind of cat who doesn't need to be the center of attention. She'll simply be over there looking adorable until you come to her. And once you do, she'll happily remind you that she deserves all the pets she missed while raising her kittens.
