Who is ready for our name reveal!?
We got this new mare from a higher end auction in northern Michigan. I had been looking around for a younger horse to add the herd that would be a candidate for staying here long term. Well this girl may be the one! Ya never know, she may not end up being a good fit, but we are hopeful and so far absolutely loving her.
She is kind, sensible, forgiving, quirky, and full of baby energy. She's about three years old and actually pregnant with a spring 2027 baby! Yeah!
Well, we've had her a few weeks, helping her settle in and getting to know her. I tried multiple names and nothing seemed to feel right. Until one, and I just haven't been able to top it off. So I think it's the one.
We are calling her Sweet Breeze's Lottie Moon. Yes like the late 1800s and early 1900s missionary ..... I started calling her Lottie and then Aaron reminded me of Lottie Moon and I was pretty sold on it. Now we have Lizzy, Laney, and Lottie. Yep. My three girls.
So welcome miss Lottie to the family officially. 💞
Thanks for all the name suggestions, lottie was one that was suggested multiple times and I just loved it..
Lottie starts training officially this Monday, and I'm excited to see where we go!
What kind of Lottie content do you want to see? How we start training? Trying different kinds of treats? Peaceful videos of her eating grass during the sunrise? Her interactions with the other animals?

Don't forget to gather your seeds and dry them for next year!
You won't have to buy so many flower seeds when you literally can grow your own!

Who is ready for my news!?

SHE IS PREGNANT! AHHHH!

We purchased her as "confirmed by vet- pregnant". But we obviously wanted to confirm ourselves, and I tried not to have my hopes up to much.

Well she is! About 60 days pregnant. So next spring, God willing, we will have a little baby running around from our new girly!

I'm super excited and now we roll into caring for a pregnant mare her unborn baby the best we can.

Also, I will reveal her name soon, I think I have one nailed down and I'm using it to see if it feels right.

We feel so blessed, she has been such a sweet girl so far, and I'm excited to see her fit into our lives more. She's still settling in and learning all about us and the other animals. She's honestly handling it really well.
