🎉 ROOT FOR TOMMY! 🎉
We could not be more genuinely excited to celebrate Tommy Forkner, who has qualified for the US National Dressage Classic Semi-Finals & Open Show Region 4 Championship in Therapeutic Rider Test of Choice!
Although Tommy has been a lifelong horse enthusiast, he had very few opportunities to ride before beginning formal lessons with Coaches Snethen & Holthaus this past spring. Since then, he has absolutely overwhelmed us with his heartfelt love for the horses—and with the kindness, patience, and determination he brings to everything he does.
Tommy is always ready to take on a new challenge, lend a helping hand, and put in the work necessary to make good things happen. He truly exemplifies our barn maxim, “Many hands make light work.” His contagious smile and calm, wise demeanor have made him such a blessing to our barn family. Tommy truly loves the horse before the sport and makes every workout a great one through his patience and natural ability to quietly connect and communicate clearly with his lesson horse, Titan.
In addition to proudly representing Northwest Missouri and Southwest Iowa at USDF regionals, Tommy will exhibit at the Western Dressage World Show in Guthrie, Oklahoma on September 19.
Tommy is currently a junior at Mormon Trail High School in Humeston, Iowa. He is the son of Adam Forkner and Brandon & Mandy Carroll. Tommy plans to pursue a career in engineering or welding. We are tremendously proud of all he has already accomplished, and we cannot wait to cheer him on at Region 4!
Please help us celebrate and ROOT FOR TOMMY! 🐴💙🏆
