What an AMAZING day for MAGDRL WV at West Oaks Farm Market in Wi******er, VA! :blue_heart:

We met so many wonderful people—seriously, the support and kindness from everyone who stopped by meant so much to us. From families with kids to longtime dog lovers, people took time to chat, ask questions, share stories, and just hang out with us and our Danes.

Speaking of Danes… Kona, Tucker, Winter, Meg, and Mila were absolute ROCKSTARS :star-struck: They got nonstop love all day—pets, hugs, and plenty of admiration. We don’t think they wanted the day to end!

We’re happy to share we raised $260 in donations :tada: AND received:
:feet: 1 adoption application
:feet: 1 foster-to-adopt application

Even better—several people told us they’re planning to apply to foster soon :crossed_fingers: (we’re crossing everything!)

Our photo display of Danes in foster care (and those still waiting) got a ton of attention and really helped spark conversations about how badly foster homes are needed.

Huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers—Jessica & David and their daughter Kenadi, Tim and his daughter Kayla, Heather, Bill and Judy—you made this day happen!

And thank YOU to everyone who stopped by, loved on our dogs, and supported MAGDRL. We loved meeting all of you :blue_heart:

🐾❤️ What an AMAZING day at Henway Hard Cider’s Valentine’s Day Pawty! ❤️🐾

Our rescue had such a wonderful time meeting so many friendly people and pups at this dog-friendly celebration in beautiful Bluemont. The cider was delicious, the vibes were relaxed and welcoming, and it was clear this is a place that truly loves having our four-legged family members join the fun. The setup — from pup swag bags to adorable activities — made it a perfect day out for both humans and dogs alike. Plus, getting to meet “Dane Mom” and her 3-month old Great Dane was such a treat! 🐶💕

A huge shout-out to the incredible volunteers from ECHO Inclusive Solutions — we loved visiting your booth! Not only are your dog treats fantastic (our Danes are still dreaming about those tiny lamb bites — perfect for training and irresistible rewards!), but your team was so friendly, informative, and genuinely passionate about the impactful work you’re doing to empower individuals through meaningful employment and skills development. What a great mission and such a pleasure to get to know you all. 🌟

And another heartfelt round of applause to Tucker’s World Rescue — it was inspiring to meet your team and learn about the lifesaving work you’re doing rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters and giving them a real shot at happy, healthy lives. You could see the love and trust between the people and dogs you brought with you — what an incredible testament to your mission. 🐕❤️

The whole event was so warm and friendly — I enjoyed every conversation and especially giving belly rubs to that sweet little three-legged pup! 🙌 I met so many neat people, caught up with other dog lovers, and felt so much positive energy all around.

Thank you again to Henway Hard Cider for hosting such a paw-sitive, dog-loving event, to ECHO Inclusive Solutions for your amazing treats and kindness, and to Tucker’s World Rescue for all the incredible work you’re doing for dogs in need.
