🐾🤎 HAPPY VET TECH WEEK! 🤎🐾

To our veterinary technicians who show up day after day, through the long shifts, the emotional cases, the chaos, the celebrations, and the heartbreak — THANK YOU!

This job takes so much heart, compassion, patience, and strength. And even on the hardest days, you continue to show up for the animals who need you most.

Cove Veterinary Services has the best!!

💁Reminder to our Clients 📄📋💻

Cove Veterinary Services has transitioned from Pet Desk ➡️ to Vello

What You Need to Do as a Pet Owner

☑️Delete the PetDesk App: Many clinics instruct clients to completely remove the PetDesk app from their phone or computer. If you have emailed the office through PetDesk in October, your request may not have been received, please reach out to the office by phone OR the Vello system!

☑️Download Vello: Install the IDEXX Vello app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or access the web portal at app.vello.idexx.com.

☑️ Sign In: Log in using the same email address or mobile phone number you already have on file with our practice. Vello uses a password-free verification system—you will receive a verification code via email or SMS to complete the sign-in.

All of our clients, who have provided an email for their patient records, received an email today with helpful instructions to set up an account.
‼️ IMPORTANT REMINDER ‼️

If you unsubscribe from text and emails, within the system, you will not be able to receive alerts about upcoming appointments or reminders about your pets health.

The Girl Scouts visited Friday and want to thank everyone who has already donated to their cause! They’ll be back in next week if you have a chance to stop by and check out the donations box or need to lighten your pockets of that spare change, all for a good cause! ♥️

It’s National Walk Your Dog Week! Fall walks just hit differently 🍁🍂🦮

Celebrate October 1–7 by getting outside and enjoying some extra steps with your pup. Does your dog have a favorite walking route, park, or trail?

🐕🍂 FALL WALK → FALL CARE ROUTINE 🍂

When you get home:

🐾 Wipe those paws — Check for dirt, debris or anything picked up along the way.

👀 Check the skin & coat — Give your dog a quick once-over while brushing or wiping them down.

👂 Take a look at those ears — Regular ear checks can be an important part of your dog’s grooming routine.

Because the walk may end when you get home… but good pet care doesn’t. 🐶❤️

🍁 Walk. Check. Clean. Care. Repeat.

This is a busy season and many days we are caring for a high volume of patients, while still trying to accommodate emergency appointments. Despite these challenges, every member of our team is doing their absolute best to provide compassionate care to every pet and family who walks through our doors.
We understand that stressful situations, when pets are in distress, can be emotional, but verbal abuse, threatening language, or aggressive behaviour toward our staff, either in person or through social media channels, cannot be tolerated.

Veterinary medicine is a profession built on compassion. Kindness, patience, and understanding can make a meaningful difference.
Thank you to the many clients who continue to support and encourage our team each day. Your kindness never goes unnoticed, and it helps us continue doing what we love most-caring for your pets. 🐶🐾🐱
