What an unbelievable way to finish off this weekend…

Merlin is the Pekingese Club of America National Specialty Best of Breed Winner under breeder judge Betty-Claire Peacock. This boy has surpassed my wildest expectations. This weekend was just one of his first weekends out (first one with me!) and he finished with all 5 point majors. I moved him up for the National and am so humbled with his BOB win. All this at just 17 months old. Thank you to all the judges that have appreciated him and found him worthy. I am floating home.

Both of these babes are out of CH Lion Dance Mosse but Gatsby (on the left) is sired by CH Aslan Silvergate R.R. Silver Ghost and Wynn (on the right) is sired by GCH Aslan Achilles Strength Prevails with Amerglo. ⁣

So thankful to have had two very nice litters out of Mosse who paired beautifully with the boys mentioned above. Looking forward to her third and final litter when ever that time may come.

Introducing our second homebred CH here at MonTai (pending AKC approval)!!

CH MonTai Queen Of Hearts “Wynn” finished today by going WB/BOW/BOS/BOBOH under Claire (Kitty) Steidel.

So so very proud of this girl and so thankful that both of Mosse’s girls are now AKC Champions. Thank you Clara for trusting me with Mosse and to Lori & Mark for the invaluable and continuous mentoring and for allowing me to use Styx ❤️

Introducing CH MonTai Lady Luck “Aria” (pending AKC approval)!!

She finished today with a nice 4 point major under Mrs. Peggy Guttierez-Otero.

Aria turned 8 months just last week and she has completely blown me away. At 5 months she won back to back Best 4-6 month Puppy In Shows, at 6 months at her first show for points, she took back to back 3 point majors, then a couple weeks later, she took a very nice 5 point major. I showed her one more time in Vallejo for 2 singles where she also took a Bred By Exhibitor Group 1 & an Owner Handled Group 2. After that, she took a month off and came back out to win the PCA Sweepstakes & was RWB at the PCA National. All of her points came from the Bred By class!! I am so so very proud to have bred this bitch.

Thank you to all the judges that have appreciated her along the way and to my husband & friends for all the help and support. Thank you to Lori & Mark Stephen for taking me under their wing and being the most incredible mentors, friends, and family. Thank you for letting me use your gorgeous boy, Styx. To my dear friend Clara Escobar Jurado for the endless help and advice and for trusting me with one of the most gorgeous bi***es I have ever laid eyes on to help start my breeding program. Thank you also to Sheri Martinez for making sure Aria always looked her best and for all the grooming and handling tips.

I am eternally thankful and just over the moon. We have our first bred by champion at MonTai Pekingese!!

I am speechless and grateful beyond words can describe.

Today at the Pekingese Club of America National Specialty MonTai Lady Luck “Aria” was Best in Sweepstakes under Mr. Bruce Spencer and Reserve Winners Bitch from the bred by class under Mr. Hiram Stewart. Thank you to both breed authorities for awarding Aria in such a nice line up of Pekes around the nation. I am truly humbled and just so so thankful. Congratulations to all the winners!!

Somebody pinch me! MonTai Lady Luck “Aria” went Best 4-6 month Puppy in Show again today at the King’s Kennel Club of California under Ms. Janice Pardue!! I am absolutely over the moon.

Well, this just happened...

MonTai Lady Luck “Aria” just went Best 4-6 month Puppy In Show at the Sequoia Kennel Club under Ms. Sandra King!

This baby girl has had my heart from the day she was born. I’m so proud of how well she moved through the grass and showed her little heart out. Excuse me while I float home!

MonTai Queen Of Hearts “Wynn” did it again today but this time she one upped herself. She went BOB 4-6 month puppy over her sister and won the 4-6 month puppy group! She showed her heart out. Both girls did. Thank you to judge Joan Zielinski 🥰

MonTai Queen Of Hearts “Wynn” went BOB in the 4-6 month puppy class over her sister and went on to win a 4-6 mo puppy Group 2!
