Big Red Elite Equestrian Team is ISO riders in grades 4-12 and it's time to kickoff our 7th season! Become part of our 6x Nationally Qualifying High School & Middle School Equestrian Team!
Join us for an informational meeting on Monday, August 17th at 6:00 at Ebke Performance Horses, LLC in Martell, NE for more details, costs, and specific season dates.
The Big Red Elite Equestrian Team is a Western Team that is part of the IEA - Interscholastic Equestrian Association in a draw-based format. It is open to all levels of riders in grades 4- 12, from beginner Walk-Trot to Breed Level Competitors, and they compete in Horsemanship, Ranch Riding, and Reining depending on their riding level. Our regular season shows are in Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas and run from September- April. The IEA National Finals are in June at the American Paint Horse Association World Show.
We accept riders from anywhere in Nebraska & surrounding states, and accommodate shows & practices accordingly. No horse ownership is required to become a member of the team. We also make it easy to balance practices with the demands of busy youth schedules.
In our first 6 years, the Big Red Elite has had a team place in the top 10 nationally SIX times, produced a National Championship and reserve National Championship individual rider, and has won 10 Regional Team Championships.
The Big Red Elite builds riding confidence, skills, friendships, and sets up riders for Equestrian scholarships & Collegiate recruitment opportunities. Many Big Red Elite alumni are riding on collegiate teams, 2 of which were part of the 2026 IHSA National Championship Team.
