This is one of the biggest ongoing scams on Facebook that people still fall for to this day—don’t be one of them!

If you are looking for a Maine C**n kitten, ALWAYS ask to FaceTime the breeder with the kitten in question. If they seem hesitant, refuse to do it, or constantly demand a down payment first, it is a SCAM.

If you plan to drive and pick up your kitten yourself, ask for proof of address. Have them show you a vet record for your future kitten that includes their address or at least the town they claim to be from. If they cannot do that, it’s a SCAM.

Another easy way to spot a scam is to tell them, “I will pay in full upon pickup. If the kitten sells before I get there, then it wasn't meant to be.” If they insist a down payment is required to take any further steps, it’s a SCAM.

This is one of the main reasons we decided to start breeding. We wanted to ensure people have someone they can trust, someone who will communicate daily and answer any questions.

This completely fake couple, "Denise and Gary Lang," has been doing this for a very long time. They create new personal accounts every month because they keep getting banned. However, their shared group profile has over 30,000 followers and evades bans because they know how to manipulate the guidelines to keep the page running. People are falling for this scam every single day!
Be careful when choosing a Maine C**n. If it seems too good to be true, it definitely is!
