Had this sweet princess born today- I was in major need of a girl lol!! Fun fact her momma’s name is Dolly Parton so in honor of that I think we should keep the theme rolling as a Dolly Parton tribute so drop your name suggestions below that for the theme!!?

🩷FOUND HER HOME 🩷
Meet Poppy😍 To no fault of her own this beautiful dun highpark heifer is up for grabs again. Unfortunately things fell through where the lady who claimed her cannot make it to get her so she’s available and ready to go!!! People went crazy over this pretty girl when she was born and she’s aged beautifully! Working on making her a little more friendly and halter breaking in the meantime! Momma is pictures in the last photo.

Well very sad update with baby girl today. Yesterday her splint was coming off so I took her in yesterday afternoon to get it rewrapped and she was fine. Later in the day she was laying down more but acting fine it was so hot and it was a new splint so I chalked it up to that. Then I took Knox to practice and church and when I got home she had rapidly declined. She was lethargic, didn’t want her bottle and laying down. I checked her temp and she had a fever so brought her inside and I gave her a shot of execed but she was getting worse by the second. So I prayed over her, made her a comfy spot and left her be. I came back two hours later and she had passed😭

She ended up passing from something totally different than what I had thought but likely an internal infection of some sort. Unfortunately that morning I had to switch to formula vs mom’s milk because she wasn’t producing anymore so that didn’t help anything. This little thing was so sweet and was doing good with progression on her little legs. After feeding her every 2 hours for the past 4 days and getting so close with her I’m broken hearted about this!💔
