We have an abundance of ice packs and our freezers are full - if anyone would be interested in purchasing some, we will be selling them for $1/each. These are great for coolers and lunch packs. They freeze hard and are about 5" x 7" x 1.5".

If you're having trouble with asian beetles (who isn't? 😩) come pick up a bottle of PT Alpine! This stuff WORKS. It is labeled as a fly bait, but will take care of asian beetles too.

EDIT: We didn't expect the traction this post got, so we are going to answer the FAQ in the comments and messages we're getting.

A couple of things to note about the product - this is an aerosol bait. It is not a "fly spray" like tempo or permetherin. The insects will be attracted to it. We actually recommend spraying it in areas away from your front door, because then they will migrate and die wherever you are spraying it instead of in front of your door. You do not just spray it into the air, it should be on a surface of some kind.

Is it pet and kid safe?
It is not in the sense that they should not be around when you spray it on. I (Taylor) have young kids, and I spray this around the top half of our outside doorways and windows that are out of my kids and pets reach. If you have older kids that will know not to touch it or will not put fingers in their mouths, it is safe for kids to be around once it is dry. Allow the product to dry before having kids or pets around the space.

What does it cost?
One can is $35.50, but it goes a LONG ways. I still have the can I purchased last summer for flies and it is still over half full.

Do we ship?
Yes! We just require payment over the phone before shipping if you do not have a charge account with us. Shipping is at the customer's expense.

Where can I buy this?
We are located at 1300 N Highway 59 in Marshall. We are open during the week until 5:30, but you can call and pay for a can and we can leave it in the entry for you if you need after hours pickup.

Can I use this inside my house?
Copied from the label: PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait can be used indoors with pets in the home when applied per the product label. Apply to walls, ledges, around window frames, etc where flies congregate or as a removable bait placement by spraying on a small object no larger than 24 sq inches and no smaller than 6 in squared. Examples for removable bait placements are wood, plastic, cardboard, index cards, nylon, metal or other suitable material. Always keep kids and pets out of the area while treating and allow the application to completely dry before re-entering.

Heads up - our loyalty system is going digital! No more remembering your cards!

Starting September 1st, we will be moving our loyalty program all online. It will be tied to our booking system, so we will keep track of everything here. Each "day" that you stay is worth a point, collect 15 points, and you will get a credit on your next stay for one day! The loyalty system is only for boarding bookings, not daycare.

Don't worry - you won't lose the value of your already punched cards. Bring your cards in anytime and we will add points manually to your account so that you don't lose them!

We will continue punching cards on bookings checking out between now and September 1st. If you are checking out AFTER September 1st, your points will be awarded digitally.

We are hiring - come join our team!!

We will be losing a few of our awesome daytime staff this fall when school starts back up. Because of this - we will be hiring 1-2 part time employees. One position would be daytime hours and one position could be flexible to be after-school only hours during the week. Both would likely require some weekends. Ideally we would start training someone in the next few weeks so they are ready to go by fall.

The ideal candidate will be hard working, reliable, and flexible. General knowledge of small and large animals and experience in customer service/retail is preferred but not required. This position will be part time, both helping customers on the sales floor and working in our boarding facility. Hours can be flexible, but would mostly be day time hours during the week, and will include 1-2 weekends a month doing part time hours (not all day Saturday/Sunday). The sales portion of the position includes but is not limited to receiving product, assisting customers, pricing, cleaning, re-stocking, and other daily tasks. The boarding facility portion involves daily chores – feeding, letting out, and playing/interacting with our pet boarders, and cleaning kennels and facilities. We are family owned and have strong family values, so we strive to be flexible to allow our employees to have time away from work when they need it. We are closed major holidays.
