Warning this video is hard to watch! But it is reality for some dogs.
Hi this is Anna Hennen with the Searcy County Humane Society and we have a dog that we had to pick up It was abandoned and had been that way for a while. This is Audi You can tell from this video he's in very bad shape We have already spent $400 at the vet and he is improving and expected to make it!

This is the momma dog ( Precious)and her 8 babies we saved at the Marshall high school a few weeks ago. Momma and one baby is already adopted when time comes. They are all doing very well and very happy. Thanks to my awesome crew at the shelter for helping take such good care of them they are a lot of fun. Such Precious little souls. God's little angels 😇 ✨️ 💖 💕

Audi was in very bad shape, scared an shutdown when he was found and brought in by a good Samaritan. He has come a long way in a few weeks. He did let a guy pet him over the weekend. That's a big step. Just look at him. Its amazing what love can do. He still has a long way to go, but we won't give up. He will know how to be a dog again and what love is.

We were called in for a dog rescue at the Marshall school. A dumped momma dog had puppy's under a portable building on school grounds. Tina, Claire, Chuck and Channing spent two days (about 6 hours) out in this heat to rescue the mom and 8 puppies. They did it!!!!

Then we got another call to rescue a dog on one of the county roads. They all have been seen by a Vet now and are safe in our hands.

Please don't dump your dogs they don't survive on their own. It take hours of time from volunteers not to mention the cost of all this. Housing, utility bills, vet bills, gas and shelter.

Please consider giving some of your time or help with bills. We get zero funding from the County or State.
