Hello, 2026! Hope you all had a fantastic New Year! We pray you all have the most blessed year to come.
We have some news for everyone.
First and foremost, we would like to thank you all for your love, support, honest reviews, and friendship. We are so thankful for you all having our backs and loving our beef over the last almost 2 years we've been in business.
With that being said, it is not lost on anyone that the cost of literally everything is astronomically high right now. Will things ever go back down? We can hope, but who really knows.
We have given it so much prayer, thought, endless conversation, and lots of scratches with a pencil and equations on the calculator and we've decided to close our doors for the time being.
When we add together feed costs, butcher bills, labor, time, utilities, fuel, and all others expenses taken to do what we do here, we are at a deadend for the time being in this business when faced with what cattle are bringing market price.
We cannot in good faith go up on our beef prices any more because we know for our location and the times we are living in, people simply cannot afford or justify paying $10/lb for ground beef or $25/lb for a good steak. And we can't even fathom asking that kind of money either. In other areas, that is what homegrown beef is bringing. Insane, right? After all, people are just trying to feed their families good food, and we want that for you all as well... But when our numbers barely break even, we just can't keep going.
It's been a great run, and we hope this isn't forever! We are in the process of getting the equipment and facilities to someday finish out our cattle at a cheaper price so we can come back bigger, better, stronger, and maybe even cheaper - prayfully!
So, all that to say, we hope this isn't goodbye. We hope it is just see you later! ❤️
Stay well! God, family, and eat beef!
