🐾 Marq & Bark Pricing Update: Effective June 4, 2026 🐾

As our services continue to grow, we’ve made a few updates to our grooming menu that we wanted to share with our wonderful clients!

Beginning immediately, our bath and full haircut packages have received a small price adjustment. However, we’ve also added MORE value to every appointment by now including a**l gland expression in all bath and grooming packages at no additional charge.

We’ve also introduced a brand-new Bath & Trim Package! This service is perfect for pets who don’t need a full haircut but could benefit from a little extra pampering with services like face trims, feet trims, and sanitary trims along with their bath.

Our goal was to create a service that better fits the needs of many of our clients while ultimately saving you money compared to booking these services separately.

At Marq & Bark, we’re always looking for ways to improve your pet’s spa day while continuing to provide the quality care, comfort, and attention they deserve. ❤️🐾

Great information from a fellow groomer! 👏🏼

Grass seed season is here 🌾🐾

Those tiny dry grass seeds (also called foxtails) may seem harmless, but they can cause painful problems for dogs by getting trapped in paws, ears, eyes, and coats. In some cases, they can even work their way under the skin and lead to infections or vet visits.

Signs to watch for:
• Excessive paw licking
• Sudden limping
• Head shaking
• Sneezing
• Swelling or irritation

Keeping your pup regularly groomed and brushed out can help prevent seeds from hiding in the coat and between the toes. After walks, especially around tall dry grass, always do a quick check over!

A little prevention now can save your fur baby a big problem later.

🚨 Tick Season Is Here! 🐾

Hey everyone, just a friendly reminder that tick season is in full swing here in Kansas! 🌿 Ticks are extremely active during the warmer months and can carry diseases that affect both pets and people.

The best way to protect your dog this summer is by keeping them on a reliable flea & tick prevention! 🐶🩺 Prevention is so important and it helps reduce the risk of tick bites and the diseases they can transmit. Even dogs that only spend a little time outside are still at risk!

You can get flea & tick preventions through your local veterinarian, and products like NexGard are great options many pet owners use to help keep their dogs protected all season long. Always talk with your vet about which prevention is best for your pet! 🩷

After walks, hikes, or outdoor playtime, make sure to check your pets (and yourself!) for ticks. Stay safe, stay protected, and enjoy the summer sunshine! ☀️🐾

🐾 Boarding Information at Marq & Bark in Marquette, Kansas!🐾

Planning a trip? Let your pup stay with us! We strive to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. ❤️

• $25 per night for one dog
• $20 per night for each additional dog

Our kennel attendant checks on all dogs 3 times daily and provides regular potty breaks throughout the day.

✨ Additional Services:
• 15-minute walks around the Marquette parks — $8 per walk. Can be daily!
• Departure baths and grooming appointments available before pickup
•Overseen group play is allowed for when we are in the building for grooming with permission from the pet parent

🍽 Food:
Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Skin and Stomach dry or wet food can be provided if needed for an additional $2 added per night.

🧸 Comfort Items:
Blankets and toys are provided for all boarding pups! If you bring items from home, please make sure everything is clearly labeled.
