We replaced our pump house and have this wooden framed structure FREE if anyone wants it.

The roof is off, and the door is also off (hinges are there) but all intact.
Great for a small coop or building for animals etc.
Free pick up at the farm.
You will need a trailer but we have a tractor to help load it! 😊

Barn swallows get a bad reputation because they can be messy around the barn, but they do a lot of good around a farm.

They spend all day catching flies, mosquitoes, gnats, and other insects while raising their babies in the rafters. They’re hardworking little birds, and it’s always a good sign when they return each spring.

Around here, we don’t mind sharing a little space with them. The barns feel a little more alive when the swallows are back, and they earn their keep every day.

Today was applesauce day. 🍎

A kitchen full of apples, busy hands, and jars lined up on the counter.
It’s a lot of work, but every jar means food on the shelf and one less thing to worry about later.

These are the days I love most.

We have five little Nigerian dwarf doelings available.
*White ones not quite weaned.
They are out of registered parents and can be registered for a fee.

A couple unrelated bucklings available as well.

Frankie and Maisy spent their first full night out on patrol with the big dogs last night….I peeked at them multiple times to make sure all was well.❤️

Still babies in so many ways, but following the older dog everywhere they go — learning the fences, checking the animals, and figuring out what it means to protect the farm.

It’s always special watching them finding their place out here and grow into guardians.
